Wednesday, January 2, 2019 - Deep golden color. Pineapple, apple and mineral on nose and palate, as well as some aged petrol flavors and aromas. Tasted a day after the 98 vintage of the same wine, this came across as less well-balanced, thinner, perhaps more "classic" in profile? But I preferred the 98, which was just singing. Still, an excellent riesling, probably has several more years of good drinking ahead but I would recommend finishing up remaining bottles sooner than later ...
