Most of the bottle is going into a red wine/shallot sauce for a tenderloin. Drinking the last of the bottle and it's not bad really. Soft tannins, modest fruit, I'm picking up just a touch of something sour. I'm not buying the good till 2033 date, but it won't surprise me if it's better a year from now.

Very simple and grapy ala Manischewitz. Relegate to cooking, or per CT community "when to drink" assessment, expect considerable improvement after 4-5 years of cellaring? (My first tasting note, and I'm near the bottom of my learning curve.)

- Garnet color. It's balanced with a medium/full body. Round texture with a medium finish.

Last tasted 3 years ago; better now; basic with balanced structure and even, modest red fruit flavor; average finish.

Flat without depth; sour red fruit; no finish; better the second day; agree on "wait and see" with time.
