  • At peak. Long, fine and integrated. Deep ruby colour with modest bricking.

Nose has a strong spice note of clove / cinnamon, powerful black fruit, worn leather and a herbal / rosemary note.

Palate is soft, round and approachable with remarkably fine, smooth tannins.

Flavours of black cherry, sweet blackberry, clove and black herbal tea.

    Long, complex finish.

    Drink to 2026.

  • Aerated for 2 hours, this was another surprisingly 'big' Niagara red that benefited from the wonderful 07' vintage, this was really good and complex and when we drink the next bottle in a few years I suspect this will rate even higher - Dark, full bodied with a very Bordeaux like nose of blackfruit, plum, cedar, cigar box and vanilla, excellent structure, quite tannic, yet integrating nicely, dry on the palate with excellent length, a real winner for sure (90 Points).
