Has matured beautifully since the last bottle 5 years ago. Floral notes on the nose with delicious apricot, honey, and minerality on the layered palate with creamy texture and a long finish.

Blind Tasting While Watching the Cubs Win NLDS Game 1 (Chez Kailin - Northbrook IL): Tasted double blind. Certainly eccentric. Spicy with peach, white pepper, lychee nute, toasted almonds and candied ginger. Good concentration, but slightly flabby. I wondered if this was Gewurztraminer or Pinot Gris, and decided on the latter. Wrong either way.

Viscous glycerin body & deep gold color. Expressive aromatics with rich honeyed undertones that channel a late harvest desert wine. Not much acidic backbone, but the structure still manages to hold together. This wine is unapologetically HUGE, and may not work for all palates, but we liked it.

A split decision in our house. My wife hated it, pouring the remaining contents of her glass into mine. But I found it quite enjoyable, first virtually ice cold and then as it warmed in the glass. Pineapple and some honey in the viscous mouthfeel. Very hearty.

A thinking man's white. A little cloudy with a golden hew. Lemon curd intertwined with pineapple and honey suckle. Not overly sweet. Well balanced. Served on the cooler side which masked some of the heat.

Honeyed yellow color, and a bit cloudy. Lovely gylcerin on the palate, but the flavors of pineapple, honey and a surprising amount of spice seem to clash, for me at least. I don't need something to exhibit perfect typicity, but if it varies meaningfully, I'd like that to be for a reason, and couldn't find one here.

Color: slightly cloudy bright straw yellow. Bouquet of honeysuckle, peaches, vanilla and a little lime zest. Delicious palate, though influenced I think by a significant dollop of viognier. Great fruit and acid; medium length finish. Honey and peaches again. Yummy stuff.

Absolutely delicious. Unctuous and with that great oily feel. Notes of honeysuckle, apricot, peach with pitch perfect acidity. With crab cakes and corn on the cob. We loved it.

I just love this wine, orange marmalade and honeysuckle. Brilliant nose and a very nicely package palate. The alcohol shows through fairly easily at the back end, so this needs some time and keeps my score from going higher.

Cellared after receipt from winery. 1st try ever and not very knowledgeable about rousanne. Popped and poured at restaurant. Golden color with a very perfumed nose of tropical fruit, lemon zest, baking spice, and toasty oak. Palate much the same. Think glycerin texture. Very fruity, touch of heat, but very good. Will be interesting to see if this can age.

Dense and oily. This has a lot going on with notes of petrol, butter, nuts and tropical fruit. Does better at slightly below room temperature. Long, long finish.

Very complex for a white, Stone fruit and spice with a hint of oak. deep golden color and a silky mouth feel with a very long finish. Best served cold, flavors muddled a bit when it warmed up. One of the best whites I have tasted.

As intersting a white wine as I have had, rich, enormous body, and a finish that seemed to never quit. The barrel fermentation of the wine in new oak was a component, but not overwhelming. Outstanding wine.

Nose of white peach, touch of caramel. Tastes like a peach Bellini, good finish, a bit of citrus and all about peach on the palate. J2X.

This is a very full bodied white wine. The color is more golden than yellow and seems very syrupy in the glass.
