PnP. Medium deep red for a Burgundy; typical for the ripeness of the vintage. Intense nose of dark fruits and spice. Round and ripe on the palate perhaps lacking acidity and tension but quite nice. Drink up.

PnP. Light red. Lovely red fruited nose. Relatively light and delicate on the palate with nice balance but not a lot of intensity or grip. Nice wine but only good, given lack of complexity and intensity.

Astonishing spicy perfume and floral intensity. Very pure. My first bottle. Lovely now, but I feel sure it will improve (and knit together better) with more bottle age.

Mineral-laden rose petal dark stone fruit nose followed by ripe black cherry, licorice, fennel, tar, and iron on the palate. Lush, great mouthfeel, uber concentrated, ripe but not over the top. Great balance, this should age well. Much more approachable than the '10 at this early stage, which was clearly disjointed in comparison.

香气里有樱桃、草莓这样的清新果香,也有烤肉类的浓厚风味,还有一点焦糖的神秘和调皮。工整无瑕,仪态万方。唯一的遗憾是持续力弱。

2009 Burgundy Vintage Tasting (Knightsbridge Wine Shop (Northbrook, IL)): So pungent and rich. Super sulfur and fragrant spicy berries. Flowers, moss. Rich and full. Great acidity but a fantastic kinda creamy mouth feel. Loved this.

2009 Red Burgundy in Helsinki (Classic Wine Cellars, Helsinki, Finland): Immediately open with nice complexity. Minerality and also some barnyard. Excellent balance. Fine concentration and mouthfeel. Develops a very nice terroir impression with some time in the glass.

Grand Burgundy Tasting (Knightsbridge Wine Shop (Northbrook, IL)): Sleeper of the tasting for me. Touch of reductive notes. Really liked the floral back end.

Knightsbridge Holiday Burgundy Sale (Northbrook, IL): Spice and earth on nose along with moderate red fruit. Too much acid for the fruit, putting this wine slightly off balance for me.
