Give this wine credit for withstanding the test of time. It maintains its taste and character after 13 years in the keg and bottle. I can confirm much of the accuracy of the prior tasting notes. A mouthful of flavor, left to breath for an hour, the wine smooths out but still is an adventure. Mine was stored at 70 F. degrees. The time to drink this vintage might be now.

Consistent with previous bottle. Well balanced and smooth drinking Bordeaux. Oak vanillin coming through a bit but it's nicely integrated with the dark fruit and some initial secondary notes of tobacco and wet earth. Solid bottle from a very good vintage.

This was my first sample of the outstanding 2010 vintage. Dark rudy red fruits. Nose of new oak, bell peppers and spices. On the palette, an open, well balanced and extremely well made bordeaux. If this is any indication of what’s to come in 2010, I’m excited as there’s so much potential from producers like this cru bourgeois and the big boys which are in the wings.
Balanced, finesse, superb. Once again the reason why I believe Bordeaux is the world’s leader in winemaking.

Musty and drab on opening and thought to be perhaps over the hill. After 90 minutes it bloomed and bloomed. Greater than the sum of its parts. Spicy concentrated fruit with flavors of intense cherry, cassis, vanilla and cedar unfolding in layers on a medium long palate. What a treat! Served at about 60 F and was most revealing a bit warmer (65 F).

Ready for prime time. A fine example of a Petite Chateau. Rounded, ample, decent length. Paired with an Ottolenghi Shawarma. Our gang of 8 did not rate it but I translate their reactions to scores ranging from 88 to 91

Needs to breathe a little, but nice & smoothe. Good value here. There is structure, yet tannins are easy. Deep burgundy color, depth to the wine, medium body with an easy bouquet. Not sure I see this getting much better,

Really nice value Bordeaux entering its perfect window. Still ripe fruit and some tannins, but secondary notes starting to emerge. Went great with flank steak.

Tasted by the glass in a restaurant. The bottle was freshly opened and then P'n'P'-ed into the glass: quite dark colour, a little bricking at the rim, a nice nose of blackberry and smoke, light to medium body, in the mouth smoke and acidity, in the aftertaste blackberry and a little bit of acidity, medium finish, quite a nice wine

Not much different from previous note. Just feel its gone into a quiet phase. Fruit is less, acid and tannin more notable. Second day better but not there for me right now. Leave till 2017 - preferably 2018 for next bottle.

Tight upon opening so decanted for around 1 hour. Medium purple color. Nose of black cherry and black currant with some woodsy, cedar notes and a touch of pyrazine. Similar flavors on the palate along with some cassis and a bit of dark chocolate. Medium acid, medium to medium+ tannins and medium body. The merlot brings a nice juicy, plush aspect to this wine. Drinking well right now with a decant, this is an approachable wine that works well with food. Solid QPR.

Pulled the cork on a remaining ~half bottle after having tasted it a couple times previously from Coravin. Consistent with my prior impression, this wine sure is a nice Bdx at a very fair price point which makes it a sure winner. Pretty much popped and poured this, left it around 10 minutes in the glass - surely it will continue to get better with age but I found it nonetheless pretty open for business (so I think you can definitely have this now without reservation, ideally give it an hour decant) and got some nice chocolate/caramel flavors.

As stated below, a decent everyday Bordeaux. OK so we've all drunk it a little too early. Smooth on the palate with a wonderful deep blackcurrant nose. Quite "loose" for a 2010 and refreshing on the palate. Finish is a little short. I did write the note with jet lag, after the full bottle and an aperitif of a glass of Chablis, and I'm just going back to the note now, but from memory the short finish meant that the wine left little impression despite the initial hope.

Danky woodsy nose. Palate reveals layers of cassis, chocolate, blackberry, dark cherry, oak, earth, and robust but not overpowering tannins. Really nice! The balance between the fruit and the earthy/danky notes is pretty close to perfect.

Ok ok, this bottle similar to last............however this time i left it 6 hours in decanter. At about 9 hours all up, including leaving in glass, it started to come right for me. so much better. It just needs a few more years. Maybe open the next one 2016 or preferably 2017 if can wait. again great value.

Big fan of this wine. Great value. However this bottle (Maybe it was me unless it's going through a strange stage) I just found a bit thing, very very tannic and not as easy to drink. The intention was not to touch first bottle of case until 2017....oh well :-)

Earthy bouquet, great weight, well-structured, quite long. So much to like with this wine, loads of stuffing! It should develop over the next three to five years and drink well through 2025. Excellent value. 91-92.

Aging nicely. Tannins starting to smooth out. Nice flavors of cherry and berries. This is a terrific wine for the money. (I had a chance to visit the winery in May--first class operation. Same owner/winemaker as Chateau Antonic.)

Half-bottle. Opened up over half an hour and showed aromatic complexity (cedar, tobacco, earth) and some finesse and depth. Excellent balance with food. Very good for the price.

Wasn't such a fan of this. On day one, its seemed more New World than Old with a hint of Coonawarra about it. Day 2 it was still quite big and rustic without any endearing features. Not for me.

Just beautiful -- blue tinged red garnet, a bouquet of violets, cedar, smoky paprika, and Italian amarena cherries. Quite pleasurable now for a vin de garde. Best bottle of Petite Chateau Bordeaux I've ever had, even besting their very good 2009. High toned mid-palate red fruit and firm tannins suggest a wine that will peak after 2016. If you have several bottles enjoy some of it now.
This has opened up very nicely. Blackberry aromas. Dusty! A fresh and vibrant aroma. On the palate, some dried floral notes. Medium tannin, bursting black cherry on the palate. Blackberry. Very nice.
