Dans une belle fenêtre. Nez discret sur le cassis, le graphite. Belle attaque puisante, du fruits noirs, des tannins enrobés. Beaucoup de matière. Notes secondaires qui pointent à peine. Très longue vie devant.
3ieme jour: a à peine bougé. De la réglisse noir. Toujours une main de fer.

Significant improvement over earlier bottles (esp March 2022). Now quite enjoyable, while not the most complex of wines. Nose fairly muted, but picking up dark cassis and some graphite. Palate has dark red fruit, some graphite, a certain acidity that hints towards red grapes, but also, and missing in earlier bottles, an attractive finish that mellows the acidity and goes on for quite a while with more red fruits and soft tannins. With hindsight, previous bottle was not to say the wine was over the hill, instead a lot of bottle variation going on.

This wine was a new addition and wanted to try it tonight, it was a full-bodied and a good blend of tannins and fruit. I could taste some wild berries, blueberries, and minerality. It needed some time to open it up, overall a good value and will taste the other bottles in a few years and let you know how it ages.

Still quite austere, high level of acidity and lack of fruit and power. Tannins have softened a bit. For me this wine is disjointed. O.k. with food. Better than last time but no further potential with ageing

Second bottle of this wine (first in August 2018). Wasn’t entirely sold on it then, was hoping would improve with age. No such luck, to the contrary, this bottle is offering less. Not bad, but not what I would expect. Austere, a bit simple, lacking in body. More acidic than tannic, not doing it for me I am afraid.

Well, pretty hard to rate. Alongside with some GC, this CB struggled. O.k. there is some dark fruit, but the sharp acidity and the harsh tannins do not make it appear harmonious. Hopefully in a bad spot, but I doubt it.

This is drinking really well. Dark fruits, Merlot dominates, very dry but not tannic, fine acidity, excellent oak integration, elegant and classy, I was positively surprised. - 89 points

Similar to the first bottle 2 years ago. Beautiful fruits, still a little bit astringent. Maybe a little closed. I am looking forward to the last bottle in two years.

This wine was ready to drink, excellent and great balance of fruit and tannins. I would strongly, recommend to add to cellar or drink now. I do recommend a good filter found some sediment during the decanting process.

The wine looks garnet colored. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry. The body is medium/full. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Needed, at least, 45 min decant. Rich, attractive nose, fruit driven, in particular cassis. Palate not quite as good, fruit again dominated by cassis. Grip is there, but a bit leaning towards acidic. Not bad, but in all a bit austere, missing some of the balance and complexity one would like to find. Significantly better day two, more rounded., suggest should perhaps better leave for a few more years. 87-88 p, 90 day two. Leave it to next bottle for formal score.

Assez frais et souple, tannins pas mal fondus! Nez sur la terre, l'hummus, les fruits rouge et le tabac. En bouche, assez simple et fin, tannins absents ou fondus, cerises, graphite et terre sur une finale courte et fluide.
Deep ruby colour. Beautiful smell of dark cherries and smokiness. Taste of black currant, graphite, cedar. Medium acidity and a little astringent tannins. Med balanced finish. Very good QPR. Blend of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon and 41% Merlot (on the label is the composition of grape varieties for the whole chateau :)).

Ruby almost to edge. Strong pine and some floral notes. Round, woody attack. Sweet cassis, a twist of orange zest, black olive, then grainy tannin with oaky astringency. This needs a few more years.

Un vin de ce château est toujours satisfaisant en haut-médoc. Des notes de fruits noirs sur une bouche avec tannins présents qui commence à s'assoupir. La longueur est bonne. 90 sur 100.

Drinking well today, this easy going wine offers a mix of tobacco, earth, cedar, lead pencil and red fruits. Medium bodied, crisp and fresh, there is a red berry character on the palate and in the finish. The wine was made from a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc.

Drank from a 0.375 bottle. Classical and powerful bouquet with cassis and dark forest fruits, some pleasant vanilla and smoky perfume. On the palate a classical wine as well with the same notes as the bouquet. Still firm and good acidity and youthful tannin. Even in a half bottle this wine will probably continue to improve until 2020+. 89+ for now.

Aerated with a Vinturi and decanted for one hour. Aromas of blackberry, currant, mocha, leather and spice. A black and red fruit core, vanilla, graphite and fine tannins on the palate. Leads to a medium to long, soft, dry finish. Medium to full bodied. Paired with grilled portobello mushroom burgers.

Typical and traditionally styled left bank Bordeaux. 50%, Merlot, 47% Cabernet, and 3% Cabernet Franc according to the label. At 13% alcohol in a year where many approached 15% the wine has good balance between the ripeness off the fruit, savory elements, and tannin. Approachable now but this feels like a 20 year wine, maybe more. Excellent value Bordeaux.

Beautiful bouquet with creamy black berry fruits and some smoky oak. On the palate the same creamy fruits, some red fruits and juicy acidity and round tannin with a firm bite. A bit vanilla, graphite and earth as well. A textbook young Bordeaux which should age at least until 2017 and then will offer a much greater pleasure until at least 2023. 88++ for now.

Ok cru bourgeois. Lacking complexity for the moment. Mainly black berries, not much in the way of torrefaction. Nice pencil lead on the finish. Deep, classy fruit which should age well some 5 years+.
