This is rather auslese. Good focus and precision, bananas and oranges jumping upfront, backed by sweet spices. Singing now. Fermented to 7.5% alc. AP 15 11

Excellent spatlese. Honeyed stone fruit and approaching unctuousness. Balancing minerality and acidity. We tried this with a spicy gumbo main course and it was a perfect complement.

Everything I want a Riesling to be. This wine still had a freshness to it that you'd expect in a much younger wine. Excellent acidity and the group favorite of the night.

Aging very well. A bright golden yellow in color. Beeswax, honey, tropical and stone fruit. On the sweeter side for a spatlese. Creamy. This went down quickly, and paired well with a vegetable curry. Me - 91, Wife - 90

Popped and poured. This is a light yellow wine with a nose of beeswax, marmalade, and wet rocks. In the mouth, the wine has tangy flavors of white peach, with a good balance of acidity and sweetness in the middle, and some lingering sweetness pulling through on the finish. Overall, this is a solid version of a Mosel Spatlese. 90 points.

Half bottle. This is just bursting with sweet citrus peel, nectarine and herbs. Creamy feel, moderately sweet, a touch of honey and deep, driving acidity. Amazingly, urgently delicious right now.

This wine showed layers of flavors--honeyed peaches, followed by some lychee, and hints of lime. It is also very luxurious and mouthcoating on the palate, with a clean, medium length finish.

Nose and initial flavor is dominated by peaches and lychee fruit. Good balance on the acidity. A hint of sweetness but I don't think it is over powering.

750 ml. had a sip immediately after open. sweetness took over palate. 1 hr after open, acid and ripe fruit(pineapple,peach...)came out for a better balance. not much minerality tasted(wrong pairing with steak?) and slightly too sweet for my taste.

Subtle nose. Crisp, clean notes of mineral and some lime zest. It's a very clean wine, nicely balanced. Bright acidity with notes of peach, apricot, lime, slate and elderflower.

Tasting with Ernie Loosen (The Wine Exchange, Orange, CA): Tight nose showing notes of peach nectar. There is a bit of effervescence on a nicely balanced palate. The acid picks up the sweetness nicely and gives a lingering green apple tartness. The sugar is not completely married to the fruit right now but in due time. Very good.

Pale gold with a clean, minerally, slate nose. Spicy and fuller than the Wehlener Sonnenuhr with great freshness and ripe fruit. The palate is full of pear, green apple and a lingering hint of crushed orange peel. Good.

Peach, honey, good acidity, creamy mouth feel, a touch too sweet but that's a minor quibble. Good wine. Drinking at it's prime.

Stone fruit, banana, auslese level sugar. Decent acidity but not enough zip to balance the sugar. This wine falls just short.
