I: Way past its best; very soft and lacks freshness. Marred further, by talc and astringency developing on the finish

Lovely Christmas day wine. Dark crimson with tinge of brown at the rim and strong tears. powerful nose of dark fruit and full bodied on the palate with lovely long finish

Drank 12/26/2012 Initial bouquet on decanting faded almost completely on drinking (2 hours later). Very smooth in the mouth, Dark, almost meaty flavour; remaining tannins give structure - almost completely integrated. Long finish to the flavour.
