This has mellowed a bit and blossomed to a height of maturity in the past couple years. Perfectly balanced and ready to go. Will likely hold a few years but sure to start a slow descent at that time. Excellent now. 95+

Lemon and brown pear, but the fruit is not the main feature on the nose. It’s complex. Mineral, saline notes, iodine, river pebbles. Palate is deep, harmonious, textural. Engaging from start to finish. Really good showing.

This is remarkably fresh and youthful still; nose of green orchard fruit and crushed gravel; initial intake on the palate struck me as neutral and flat but then POW!!! I got hit with an acid/dry extract time bomb. A coiled spring of flint, sea air and water, purity and that laser-like backbone giving this an enormous finish. Meadows described this as “painfully intense and explosive” but that was like 8 years ago. This is a wild ride but still (somehow) a baby yet. Great wine.

PnP. Perfect cork. Light greenish gold. Exotic nose of classic Chablis notes (citrus, sea air) with deeper fruit scents which are not over ripe but certainly more complex than typical. Lovely mid palate depth and a penetrating but not typically razor sharp acid finish. This is lovely if atypical. The richness of this wine is perhaps charactertstic of Les Clos than any other Chablis Grand Cru.

Light greenish yellow. Chablis seashore and lemon. Medium weight, just a hint of wood. Snappy citrus admixed with saline broth, stony finish, superb acidic backbone. This was every bit as fresh as it was 2 years ago and maybe even deeper. As good as it is now, I wonder if it continue to improve over the next few years. Quite a 2010, a standout even in the context of an outstanding Chablis vintage.

man, this wine was singing 3 years ago. now, it's really lacking vibrancy and attention. it was borderline on getting that caramelly, butterscotch notes on the nose, but just barely. the finish had good intensity and length.... certainly not a bad wine, but i truly preferred it younger when the acidity was refreshing and cleansing, and the flavors were more delineated.
Light yellow. Fragrant sea breeze and iodine. Lovely weight and texture, excellent combination of crispness and flesh. Fresh fruit (citrus), not at all too rich or ripe. Young Grand Cru on the cusp of maturity.

Bursting with white flowers on the nose, it's all pear and no crisp/green notes. Huge aroma, this baby is RIPE.
Massive amount of dry extract, it is palate staining.
Rich finish, more opulent style than most Chablis. Perhaps this is '10 vintage influence, which in my experience has made some wines overly tropical and the best wines just plain amazing.
In sum, this ain't your Daddy's Chablis, but it is virtually impossible to dislike.
One exception: I strongly dislike the fact I polished off my stash too quickly and there is no more around. One bottle left after this, and I doubt it will get past the weekend...
Swedish Princess review: "Dude, this is crazy." She is repouring quickly. Yeah this wine won't last long in our home.
On a slightly more serious note, every time I have opened this wine it has been better than the last. Those of you sitting on a case of this will be very, very pleased. It was tightly wound a few years ago and is just now revealing its greatness.
Probably get even better in time, but if you want something racy and rich, drink now.

Truffle Dinner with Chris, Dom, Phil and Jane (Home): 13.5% alc. Cork. Mid straw colour. Nose of lemon, white flowers, minerals, peach and apricot. Intense palate carries the rich flavours with a sense of harmony. Good length here. Clean and fresh flavours linger. The classic sea spray is missing, but it doesn't detract. On the night, it was preferred over the 2010 Mount Mary Chardonnay.

Excellent GC Chablis drinking beautifully. White peaches and flowers, slate, touch of smoke on the nose. Medium bodied, pure, nicely ripe on the palate. Finishes with crisp mouth watering acidity and good length. Has that great Chablis balancing act of richness and precision. Very good.

Floral and rich without sacrificing elegance and lift...still penetrating acidity and mouthcoating minerality. Great GC Chablis. The more I drink from this producer the more I love them.

Perfect maturity. A notch weightier than the Preuses of same vintage. Drink up.

PnP. Still lovely. Last bottle. The richness of the vineyard and the acidity of class Chablis in nice balance. Not sure this will improve further.
