With a very short decant to tame the acidity a bit, this wine shines. For $15 you get a structured Bourdeaux, 50/50 cab-merlot blend, that complements hearty dishes very well. The cab comes through nicely when paired with red meats. Excellent QPR.

Popped and poured. Pretty nose of blackberry, currant, tobacco, chocolate and spice. A soft black fruit core combines with notes of tobacco and spice on the palate. Leads to a medium to long, dry finish with good mineral character. A well made Bordeaux and very good QPR. Paired with grilled cheeseburgers.

Cab comes through in this 50/50 cab/merlot blend. And to me, that's a good thing. Nicely structured, with mainly rich dark fruits, but not completely integrated at this point in time. Very good qpr at $15, and should improve with some cellar time.

Rich and excellent, a typical wine from Bordeaux. Medium body, good tannin and acidity, balance and a medium long finish. It's worth buying another bottle! :)

A dark cherry and mineral aroma. The tannins are still there on the palate. Dark berries are there to taste. A long finish. This wine should improve with age.

- Ruby color with medium forming legs. It's balanced with a medium body. Round texture with a medium finish - Interesting wine, but I expected much more from it. Intense woody smell and flavours, backed up by some fruit. Light to medium body, but it didn't live up to the 90 points from a sticker on the bottle. But good enough to drink again.

Très beau nez pour ce cru bourgeois. Goût surprenant, bon et pas trop rappeur, A ce prix c'est très bien.

spearmint, sarsaparilla, madurro wrapper, candied cherry. Palate is leaner than expected, and kinda flat. I was hoping for more.

This may just be too young or maybe shaken up from it's journey to me. Will revisit in 6-12 months.

50/50 Merlot/Cab Sauv. Nice nose, slight spice. Palette shows dark fruit and some iron qualities. Medium plus tannins/structure, acidity balances too.

Lots of leather and tobacco with some red fruits in the background. Not a bad wine but nothing exciting.
