Clear, dark Crimson with pink bordering on orange rim, with beautiful sparse slow-moving tear blobs. Clean, med- intensity, aromas of dark cherries, cooked blueberries, red liquorice, tea leaves and a hint of nail varnish. Dry, med body, med alcohol, med tannins, light acidity, this wine exudes balance and finesse. Further tastes of figs, dried pomegranates, violets, and light pepper. This is a silky, wonderful wine and I must be drinking it at its peak. Fabulous finish, and priced incredibly reasonable. Highly recommend with any game or lighter red meats.

This Grenache-Syrah blend opens with the bursting aroma of sweet blackcurrant, backed up by emerging earth and spice notes, and in a quite enjoyable way it's like drinking a Ribena with a dash of black pepper. The problems, though, are twofold: first, it's a bit too juicy for its own good, the soft tannins not providing enough overall structure at this point in its maturity; second, the funky, bretty notes assume an increasing role and end up being a tad too prevalent. But the complexity is there, the fruitiness is certainly compelling, and, yes, Ribena is quite tasty.

60%Grenache, 40% Syrah - Soft, supple, earthy and spiced. Shows powerful but balanced fruit. Nice stuff with mild tannins on the edge and a lasting finish. Food friendly and fairly priced.

good qpr. I paid $10 for this and it easily rivals 18 or $19 bottles. A nose of dirt and spice, palate ofunobtrusive tannins and spice follow-through. Of course at $10 you are not going to find greatness here but what you do find is pleasantly surprising.

Dark fruit and paint fumes on nose. Big, smooth, medium length, bold fruits simple but big flavours. Very good value, a great BBQ wine.

Bel équilibre agréable mais manque de caractère.
