This bottle is still going strong -- never would have guessed it was 20 years old. Purple fruit is still plentiful, color was dark and strong to the edge. Held up well over two days. The tannins and acid are well integrated. Not as much complexity as hoped. Smooth but not overly lengthy finish.

Opened for wine group lunch today...some slight bricking, nice rich color. Expressive nose. A real surprise...very well integrated tannins, good fruit and delicious. Was not expecting it to be this good in an average year. Drinking well even tonight...has some time left.

Absolutely delicious. The hit of the evening. Medium garnet with a hint of brick at the edge. Full of fruit and well integrated tannins. This started with flavors of black cherry, cassis and raspberry. Evolved over two hours to reveal additional layers tobacco and cedar and a touch of light oak on the finish. No question this is drinking at peak right now.

Signs of age in the color. Smells of olives, cedar, clay, dried blackberries. Medium full body with defined acidity and integrated tannins. Sour cherries, cranberry, red spice, cedar, olives, a hint of blueberry with black currant tying up the loose ends. The finish lingers like a hot day in July. It's all velvet on this one. Still shining with plenty of life left to give. Excellent depth of complexity.

A really nice Napa cab. Full fruit with a hint of rich earth. No need to decant, just pop and pour and enjoy an all-around very good bottle. I wasn't expecting to be so impressed - a sleeper.

Drank a bottle at Brad Day's house, at a wedding shower. Decanted 30 min. Lovely mineral and cherry aromas, with big fruit and mineral flavors. Nice LOOOOONG finish of fruit and some pepper. A lovely cab! Outstanding - 93 points.

Even after decanting, tasted somewhat bitter. Seemed to be past its prime.

I think this has gotten better over the years. Nice earth, stone and leather. Not typical Napa cab. Kind of old world style. Not in your face.

Super tastey, hints of earthiness, currant, and leather. Still had life in it but needs to be consumed.

Great tannic structure to balance a moderate rich fruit. Sorry to drink my last bottle of this.

Beautiful rich cab fruit. Tannins very soft. Elegant without being austere. Time to drink up.

GArnet color. Plum and leather notes. Decent amount of fruit on the palate with plum and raspberry flavors, but a clipped finish.
