Strawberry and a lot of secondary notes on the nose. In the mouth, quite light but well balanced and with good length. Initially fruity but with a savoury finish.

2015 Aspen Food & Wine Classic Trip; 6/17/2015-6/22/2015 (Aspen, Colorado): This graceful-styled, medium ruby wine features aromas and flavors of Bing cherries, baking spices, citrus and sassafras. Light-to-medium-bodied, freshly acidic, seamlessly alcoholic and softly tannic, it has no hard edges but does thin a bit on the mid-palate. The resurrected finish is smooth and medium in length. This Pinot should be at its best over the next 3-4 years. Drink now-2019.

Silky with heavy fruit forward and smoky notes. Medium bodied; aromas of strawberry and tart cherry. Similar flavors on the palate. Fresh acidity, medium-weight, sweet tannins and moderate alcohol. Finishes with substantial length.

Infanticide. Took a full 24 hours to show. I would lay this down for a couple years. If you absolutely have to drink it, open a day ahead. This is REAL wine. Simply a pleasure to drink whatever you think it smells like.

Peter Bourne- 3 island Pinot Noir Taste off (Sydney): Colour: pale, ruby, clean legs Nose: medium minus intensity, clean, youthful, black fruit, cream, biscuit, cheese, sweet spice, cedar, vanilla Mouth: medium plus acidity, medium body, medium flavour intensity, medium tannin, front of mouth grip and silky. Juicy black berry fruit, spice, cedar, oak and slightly bitter on the long finish Good but built to last – will the oak calm down before the fruit dissipates…

Tasted among many of the flagship pinots from Australia and New Zealand. The New Zealand wines tended to be fuller-bodied, heavier and darker fruit than the Australian examples. This one had a sour blackberry taste with hints of Asian preserved mustard.

Slank og elegant. Men har mistet frukt uten at det har blitt noe særlig med sekundæraromaer. Usikker på hvor lang lagring denne tåler.

Fragrant on the nose. Taste was light, but lots of flavour. Really good

Premium Pinot Noir Releases (Prince Wine Store - Bank Street): Fine red berries and florals with a mineral core, edgy tannins and a great structure. A very interesting wine.
