87 pts

Drinking impressively well -- seamless integration of fruit and suave structure. The 2010 vintage has done a nice job of taming any Pommard rough edges at a relatively young age of 12. Should drink nicely for a decade+

I'm a big fan of this producer, particularly for the money. Rugiens is also a pet favorite premier cru. And '10 is dynamite. That all made for a very nice wine here, with suave red and dark fruits and very bright acids. But this isn't quite as good as it could be. It's a touch simple and doesn't have the intensity, weight, or complexity of a top-tier burg. I suspect this will improve.

Aerated in decanter 2 hrs, iirc, served blind. Seems to be in a good place now, with a combination of crunchy, sappy red fruit, spice, and avg+ length. Someone guessed Pommard, but I could only identify the region; the vintage came across more like 2009, but maybe that was just me. Will hold at this level for some time++, but I'd hold if I had more. recommended
Impressive bottle. Opened maybe 20-30 min before drinking. Very good depth and complexity, some Lyle green notes, nothing too strong, but also snappy red fruit. A serious wine, quite a pleasure. Think it will put on some weight with a few more years as well. Shows the breeding of producer and vineyard, not to mention a good vintage.
Amazing bottle - this is still so young. Complex, hints of Pommard and Volnay. Elegant and complex nose of iron and spice. A bit acidic at first on taste but comes into its own after some time. Long finish.

Brighter red ruby; nose shows rich fruit, fresh and tart, juicy, still very youthful and undelineated, spice, slight iron edge though still fresh and vibrant, all red fruit cranberry, raspberry, sour cherry; fresh entry, very fine tannin, sweet wood, nice meatiness and buffer of fruit, plum, sour darker cherry, and cinnamon on the finish; in a sexy place now I really enjoy this now but also want to see this with 10-15more years of age, the quality of the fruit suggests a long life; 92+.

very nice delicate nose of raspberry and spice. Delicate fruit flavors on taste driven by young fruit. Light but gains intensity as it opens up. Very refined delicate at first but brings on intensity as it opens up. Long mineral nuanced finish. Great quality and a very nice bottle. Needs lots of age to bring out tertiary flavors, but this has lots of promise Very refined.

Fresh, supple, quite forward for a Pommard. Fruit and tension balanced on the finish. Drinking very nicely now but better in a few years.
