Beautiful mature Pinot Noir. Orange nuances with wet forest floor aromas, on a rainy spring day. Palate is still offering some complex fruity, floral aromas. Perfectly balanced, this wine is definitely at its peak and should be consumed in the very near future. Reminiscence of a mature Burgundy Grand Cru. Really nice!

Beautiful Pinot. Aromatic, complex, balanced and very classic. Great wine. At its peak but will last another 5-7 years for sure. QPR is incredible compared to Burgundy Grands Crus.

FOXTROT TASTING at WHISTLER CORNUCOPIA (Whistler, B.C. Canada): Medium ruby with some lightening at the rim with the first sign of subtle secondary vapours on nose. Big black and white pepper on an almost ripe California like pinot nose of young strawberries and blueberries. Long impressive balanced finish, clearly telling us that 6 years out seems to be in the ballpark for thinking about ploughing through these great delicious BC Pinots. (now-2023)

Superb pinot noir! What a great producer. Made from 2 tons/acre yield. Very high quality. Great strawberry, spices, incense nose; very aromatic and complex. Very similar in the mouth with excellent acidity, great balance and lenght.

Since the last bottle was more likely flawed then just bad, got a new bottle from my buddy Drew to taste.
Clear ruby red, advanced color given the age.. A touch of heat on the nose, red fruit dominates - cherry, strawberry, light red fruit. The wine is medium weighted, reasonably balanced structure, tannins is resolving. Some earthy, forest floor, mushroom notes on the palate. clipped finish with noticeable alcohol.

Most pronounced feature of this wine is its rich 'spice box' characteristics. Good acidity too. But wondering of the alchohol is a bit overdone. Still,a very good pinot.

I think this was opened too young. Heavy, dense mouthfeel. Needs a few years to smooth and soften both taste and texture.
