This was OK but not great, after the Chenevotte of the same vintage this was a let down, clunky (oaky?) and hopefully just in need of time, not bright and lively for sure

was very happy with this, some prior bottles had a heavy / oaky? / oily / smoky thing going on that made the wine disjointed, this bottle had a little of that when opened but after 90 minutes in decanter it had the acid and citrus-based tension to be super enjoyable, still with some serious body but balanced and not disjointed... lots of minerals as well... very nice on this night while playing bridge

Not my favorite PYCM wine I've had. Nice rich yellow fruit with signature reduction and some wood spice, but a bit of a fatty with less driving acidity than I'd prefer. There's a nice green edge here with some herbal notes, just needs more definition/structure.

Colin-Morey 2010s (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Some sulfur on the nose (but not the palate) along with a steely aspect. Overall, richer than the Chenevottes with an herbal twist. Finishes with a wave of orange rind, soil and tremendous acidity. Great structure and potential.

Un Chassagne incroyable, un nez merveilleux, une bouche grasse longue et citronné...Une cathédrale de silex.

Nice wine with a saline quality (in a good way). Very subtle and well made wine.

Had this blind. Fat, ripe and quite some lumber. Not very true to the terroir IMO. Somewhat tiring, not my cup of tea.
