Off restaurant wine list with proper decant. This is attractive. Excellent fruit, round and elegant. Nose just half open but quite seductive and intense. No tannins that disturb, so a good early drinking BM.

Bright ruby red color and medium bodied, with This ethereal aroma that is both floral and savory with fresh cherry blossom, tea leaves, Asian spice and juniper (to me not exactly mint and not exactly forest). Great texture, acidity and smooth tannic structure at 7 years old. Bright cherry fruit and warm spice greet the palate. Long, pleasurable finish. Wow. Highest recommendation.

La Paulée de San Francisco - The Verticals (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Tasting, brief note. In 11/09/01 vertical. Big fruit aromas showcasing both black and red cherry and berry. More brawny, firm and backward on palate, this wine had completely shut down showing none of its prior youthful charm. Cellar to 2026-.

So bright and energetic with a complex nose of freshly grated ginger, crisp blueberries, cherries, pomegranate and violets. It is crunchy and detailed in the mouth with fresh fruit flavours and a hint of some cooler plant matter notes. It is very minerally and the finishes with great cut and then flavours continue to fan out well after the wine is swallowed. Far too young but impeccably balanced.

Più boisè rispetto agli altri vini del lotto, ma la complessità qui è molto Chambolle: fiori, frutto cupo, spezie pepate. Winemaker's dinner: Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé (Bagatelle,Oslo): Klar, dyp rubinrød med blåskjær. Dyp, parfymert og mørk nese med knuste røde bær og fioler, og med innslag av blå bær. Intens og strukturert frukt med imponerende presisjon. Ung og rå. Saftig, frisk syre. Milde, faste tanniner. Tørr utgang. Svært lang.

Day Two in Burgundy: Ponsot, JJ Confuron, Vogue, Mugneret-Gibourg (Cote d'Or): Tasting at Domaine. Dense and somewhat voluptuous for the vintage, showing blackberry and blueberry with an intense, dense aromatic character. Fat and forward flavors to start, then a slightly abrupt and firming middle, followed by an opulent finish. VG+ potential, but will need 5+ years in the cellar.

I loved this. Nose or flowers and quite concentrated and charming on the palate. Nice backbone of acidity. Very round.
Paired with chambertin 2010 Rémy. The BM was much darker and concentrated.
