Delicious, developed aromas of pineapple, yellow plums, honey and a hint of petroleum. Delicate, soft and pleasant taste of flower nectar, honey and pineapple juice. Long taste curve, medium acidity, very good balance.

Peach, citrus, minerals and petro on the nose. Ripe fruit with Nice body and concentration. Would have appreciated slightly more elevated acidity. Honey notes and minerals in a medium long finish. OK value.

Pale yellow Nose of grapefruit, ripe lime and lemon, nice depth and clear mineral edge Palate confirms the nose, really nice balance and lingering spicy minerality Compared to previous tasting it's more open, with more sweetness and ripe fruits. Excellent QPR ($25)

Not as fruit driven as other German Rieslings. Instead of the tropical fruit, this encounters some very spicy notes peppery, ginger and a little lemon or maybe more like lime actually. In the nose, you also find a bit of elderly flower. Accompanying the spicy notes is a gravel like minerality keeping the tastes very fresh and precise. To me a bit atypical Rheingau with the lack of tropical fruits. Still a wonderful effort.

Already pretty developed, with petrol notes, yellow apples and lime. Generous on the palate, with balanced acidity, nice mineral kick and a bit of oompf in the finish (13,5% according to the back label). Delicious today, but most likely not a keeper. Enjoy!

Love the spicy noce. Ginger, lime, elderflowers is bursting out of the glass. The body is not as massive as some of the wines from Leitz, but it has no bearing on quality. The palate is concentrated and even more spicy than the nose. The acidity is good, meaning at does not stand out. Merely refreshens the total experience. On the palate there is also some bitter notes, but only comtributing to the complexity of the wine. There is real bite to this bottle. It has great length. A real pleasure.

The winner of this night! Outstanding mouthfeel with a vibrating feeling filled with minerals reminding me of gunpowder as in bourgogne. Small fruit though...

Tasted immediately after opening. Light, straw-yellow. On the nose: minerals, stone, herbs; very fresh, cool. A nice oily texture, very well balanced. Some herbs and even spices. Great balance between the "sweetnes" and the acid. A little closed at the moment? The price in Norway is NOK 249, which I find is a bargain with this quality.

God konsentrasjon, god lengde. Fin vin -- men jeg skal slutte å dekantere unge rieslinger om de gir så mye ved åpning.

Midsummer weekend @ Sturköbaren; 6/23/2012-6/24/2012 (Sturkö, Sweden): Neutral and earthy nose, hard to figure out at first. On second day it shows more riesling typicity and florality with notes of jasmine and apple blossom. On the dry palate we note fine acidity - more rounded than 2010 - extremely pure fruit and good length with a bit of spice to the minerals. Definitely an outstanding wine - hard to say much more since it is so young and undeveloped.

Er en god vin - masser af frugt og fylde; men til den søde side. Mangler alder og nuancer. Giver Nulli hovedpine
