was perfect with the food, but otherwise a bit too much honey. Did show nice notes of the tropical fruits. One of those chards that probably needs to be served cooler. As it warmed, the oak and honey tended to overwhelm. Must note, I did decant for about an hour.

The last bottle, and while this is perfectly fine, it really is rather nondescript Some evident fruit, but not much depth nor finish. Good to Very Good. thedrunkencyclist.com

Not a world beater by any means, but for $8? This is a solid wine. Not a ton of fruit, nor complexity, I would place this at around $15, so for half that? You bet. Good. thedrunkencyclist.com

I had a few of these bottles a while ago and was a little disappointed. This bottle, however, showed much deeper fruit and better oak integration. This will not be confused with a Meursault, but it is a nice chardonnay. thedrunkencyclist.com

This was great. Very refreshing style that reminded me as much of a pouilly fuisse as it does of a CA chard. Great acidity and elegance. Not going to blow you away for complexity, but great spring/summer chard here.

I have a few of these bottles left and I decided I should try and move through them a bit. This bottle was much better than my last experience, but I remain at best non-plussed. I bought these solely to the fact that they were purportedly made by Sonoma rock-star wine maker Dan Goldfield. Maybe. Some OK fruit and acidity, but the midpalate is a bit disjointed and never really comes together by the finish. Not bad, just Good.

Other bottle may have been a bit shocked or slightly off. This one was great. 90-91. Comparable to $30 chards as indicated by LB. Silky texture, great acid, less bitterness. Think Stag's Leap Karia or Jordan. Dont serve too cold.

sharply acidic, needs time to age a bit. color was almost transparent Nose was nearly empty. good mouth feel, hints of apples and nearly no oak to it. I have another 7 bottles, will wait for a year or 3 and see if the flavors and acid mellow. It has potential to be an excellent wine.

Second bottle of this we have had. the first was bright, acidic with little to no oak or malo. This one is a flabby mess. Tons of oak, full-on malo. What is going on here? I assume this is a flawed bottle? But it is not corked.... Curious.... 78 points.

This tastes like a poor mans Jordan or something along those lines. Has a bit of leanness, which I like, not a lot of malo if any. But Stefan and the boys whiffed on this a bit for me(very rare). This doesn't taste that expensive or interesting. 87-88.

Nicely weighted, oily offering with tangerine and wet rock. The acidity is very much appreciated, keeps it from getting too flabby.

Still pretty smitten. A California take on white burgundy that only falls slightly short. Good elegance and balance.

Not amazing but tolerable. Lacking smoothness and richness I like in an oaked Chardonnay.

- Yellow gold color - Good daily wine. Nice tempered oak with a nose of melon and citrus. Slight butteriness on palate with fruit/floral too.

Good value thats a step above the usual berringer type chardonnay. Nice butter but a little thin on the fruit side.
