Similar experience to jeffboy as my initial thought was corked, but it was just a little musty, so the nose was not perfect. It was quite juicy on palate with cherries and violet but not in perfect balance. I didnt love it overall but it works with food.

cherry colour turning bit into violet - beautiful. nose: at the begining was very earthy and and we even thaught that was corcked. but it was not. after a while becoming full of dry but succulent cherries. taste: good acidty tickles the palete; rather simple and too much alcoholic with quite scorching finish. later becoming more smooth and fruity. definitly needs to open.
