Reddish color. Virtually no nose. Thin legs. Shallow wine with little, if anything, beyond astringency and very sour cherry. Thankfully short finish. Even worse than the same wine we had three months ago. No redeeming virtues to this bottle.

Sour cherry, earth and spice. I found the wine to be a bit dilute, which is funny because I noted "good concentration" in my last bottle. Certainly a feminine expression of the grape with good acidity. Won't make old bones.

Deep ruby. Nose of black licorice and dried flowers. Medium legs. Strong astringency upfront almost overpowers notes of black licorice, sour cherry, leather and spice. Medium finish. Decent, not a favorite.

Sour cherry, cherry pit and earthen flavors accented with Asian spice. There's a hint of dustiness to the fruit as well. Good concentration and persistence in this nicely balanced wine; it's in a nice spot and should drink well until 2020+. An elegant expression of Oregon Pinot Noir.
Consumed at dinner (Cotton Duck) so no formal notes.

- Purple color with slow forming legs and aromas of cherry and has flavours of raspberry, smokey and dusty - Drinking nice right now and will only get better with time.

Nice translucent ruby. Very pretty pure cherry notes with mineral backbone and a touch of Asian spice. On day one, the palate was flat and dull, seemed to lack acidity, which was very suprising knowing Kelley's style.. Didn't care for it at all.
Day two, nose remains fresh and lovely, but now the palate has a bit more snap. Extremely odd evolution. Seems a previous taster had the same experience on the palate. Give a a day of air, and it shows more promise.

This wine had a lot of good things going for it. It was a beautiful light Burgundian color, the nose was characteristic and the structure seemed solid. My disappointment was in the mid palate and finish. Though I enjoy the Oregon Pinots immensely, I just found this to be a little gutless right now. I have several more bottles and will keep my fingers crossed that they develop a bit more personality.

It's got the ashy earthiness that I love about Willamette! My favorite producer from that region at the $30-40 price point. Lovely wine.
