On opening: very clean, pure and bright nose with just a whiff of sea shore and oysters. Broad, expansive palate that comes across as ripe and one dimensional. Finish starts to reveal some lemon rind as it fans out and tightens up. Will update after dinner.
My favorite of the flight followed closely by the 18 Les Clos, served blind 3 hours after opening. This benefited greatly from the decant, as the palate firmed up quite a bit and developed more complexity. Deep, briny with lemon rind. Big palate, but shows an acidic and tight palate that belies the vintage reputation.

Light medium yellow; slightly subdued nose to begin with, good acidity, apples - after a while opening more up, some butter; nice, chalky, intense and rounded, good pointed (non-fatty) taste; long aftertaste; really nice, not that forthcoming to begin with but give it half an hour and it comes forward

Perfect clarity and endless depth. The most precise Chablis, no, but if one is going to quibble when presented with a wine at this level, then maybe it’s not worth drinking wine. I loved every sip.

Luftet på karaffel i litt over en time. Er noe mer alvorlig i stilen enn MdT. Kraftigere, mørkere, mer mineralsk og litt «hardere» i fremtoningen. Dyp! Her er det bedre fruktkons og balanse enn i MdT. En nydelig og smertefull intensitet i munn. Syren føles nok litt undermoden her også, men ikke fullt så «ille» som MdT. Nydelig sjøaroma i finish, god lengde.

Drank very well, though a little different than 2 years ago....whereas that wine was full of raw power, energy, and piercing components (reduction, acidity, minerals), this was more integrated and harmonious

In Irancy. My fifth bottle of François Raveneau in eight days or so...This was another joy! Grand Cru weight and length, not great but very very good over lunch.

At the end of a long evening. Brief impressions only. Clear, fresh, mineral-driven, with very ripe fruit. Nicely intense and medium+ length but the Montee de Tonnerre 2013 and the Dauvissat Preuses 2008 drank alongside showed more complex and long. I guess will be better in 5+ years.

Part of an unexpected Chablis mini-vertical. Conditions not ideal with bottles already open a while and kept at room temperature. Piercingly citric fruit, steely med+ minerality. Some fine oak notes here and there. Crisp freshness on the palate where I would have hoped for a more round experience.

Holy smokes this was cranking. Intense and lifted bouquet with matching palate...minerals, floral, crisp acidity, and laser focus. Drank late into the evening, it was a highlight and maybe wotn. Thanks E

This is utter infanticide, yet I am in love. Very paradoxically inclined, displaying power and finesse. Loaded with Meyer lemon, slate, with a touch of white pineapple. The finish is perfect as it literally goes on for minutes. The enjoyment is quite evident, however, this goddess of Chablis would love more time in a dark cellar. Drink 2020 -.

Tasted over 3 hrs -translucent nearly iridescent light yellow-green -somewhat reserved but very Chablis with abundant oyster shell and salt water minerality -med acidity, med- weight but very deep and powerful, soft minerality stony saline dominate with a little background lemon/grapefruit that manifests with a slight bitter pithiness on the long finish, picks up complexity with air -textbook power without weight, restrained grace, this is no longer primary but still needs some time to open up

This represents Chablis in its optimal way. Despite its youth extremely well balanced and precise, nothing wrong. All sharp Chablis-edges are softened: elegant minerals, only a slight hint of reduction. Fresh, fruit and herbs. Lovely.

Rockstars of Burgundy: Pineapple, musk, herb and mandarin. Good texture, persists well - has good character to it - less intensity than the other Grand crus next to it but I rather liked it.

Domaine Raveneau (@ Rotterdam, Netherlands): On the nose, notes of citrus, sea and lemon peel. Soft, wide and fruit-driven with good fullness. Fresh acid. Great length with mineral tones and hints of butter. Lovely!

Not the substance as 2010, broad in the finish, missing acidity not completely balanced. 93-94

PNP into Zalto Burgundy glass (“No” day): Medium golden with greenish tints.
Ripe grapefruits, florals, smoke and oak. Buttery and fresh yogurt notes.
Very rich in a nice way on palate. Still very much youthful now and needs time.
94 points.
Second round: more yellow fruits now. Amazing concentration and still a lot to offer in the long term.

Survey of 2011 Dauvissat and Raveneau Premier and Grand Crus (San Francisco): All sea breeze upfront. Round and silky. Ripe pear with underlying oyster shell, soil, and stone. Outstanding persistence. Fully expressive and does not seem like a great candidate for much further aging.
