Pierre Morey/Fourrier Dinner at La Paulée de Los Angeles (Bicyclette, Los Angeles): Full yellow. Regal aromas with a touch of herb. You could tell from the nose that this was something special. Medium to full bodied, layered and gorgeously textured. Seamless, unforced sweetness, and bright citrus. Outstanding acidity and incredible finishing stone. Now that is minerality! Youthful, explosive, and everything you’d dream of in a great Perrières. The best of the 6 whites by a country mile, easily eclipsing the Batards.

Excellent. A Smokey flinty nose at first. Gréât structure and drive. A very pure Perrieres but showing lovely fruit on the mid palate. Good now with 45 minutes + but should reach apogee by 2026/27

2010 Great White Burgundy Dinner (Eli's Table - New York, NY): Tasted double blind. Dense and powerful orchard fruit throughout. But also so linear, precise and long, without the nuanced complexity I find in many 2010s. Very good even if slightly confusing.

In a good place. Excellent balance, full palate, clean finish. Nice citrus notes, not overdone, stone and flowers on the nose, again restrained. An elegant wine with time left.

Tasted blind. Medium yellow. Very aromatic with citrus in a way that made me think Riesling. Medium weight, some hazelnut and wood on the palate. Good but atypical for Meursault, and it had none of the stoniness I associate with Perrières.

On a night of wonderful wine tasting This was one of the white highlights rich light deep color. Nice legs. Nose was a wonderful bouquet of light fruit cut wild flowers. Nice buttery creamy texture in the mouth. All restrained bit a lot there to search for like a treasure hunt of subtle flavors and scents. Paired with a corn bisque with lobster. Matched up well.

A Night of Truly Diverse Wines (Newtown, Sydney): Enticing nose of smoke and gravel. Precise and restrained in the glass, with great tension. Cut flowers and muted white fruit. Not overly generous, though hardly austere. Real class.

La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Walk around tasting in 10/09/00 vertical. Reduction dominated this bottle, so nowhere near the quality of the (very good) bottle from two nights ago.

The Verticals Tasting at 2020 La Paulée de New York (Eventi Hotel, New York): Sulfur. Light, lean, and tight. Hard to read but I wouldn't bet on it.
