Two bottles tasted, one moderately premoxed and the other fresher, brighter, but not really an extraordinary experience. That said, this was one glass followed for an hour or so.

Probably one of the best white wines I have had. Light golden color clearly showing some aging of this beauty. Nose of peaches, pineapples, honeycomb, and minerality. On the palate fat but not lush, excellent body and structure, superb fruit mid palate, multi dimensional and ends long. Beautiful wine. Opened up after half an hour. Not to be missed.

From a magnum. Apricot, peach, lemon tart and vanilla from the nose and palate. Grand-cru weight and density with good richness. Still a few years away from developing more nuance and layers to fully reveal itself.

Acker Merrall Bicentennial Gala (Cipriani Wall Street - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Very rich start with ripe pear and quince with floral charm. Similarly rich flavors to start, the leaner with some lemon from middle forward, and a slightly backward finish. Excellent Grand Cru density, but the nuance is just hinting at this great wine’s full potential.

Served blind alongside the '11 Leflaive Chevy. Like the Leflaive, this was very floral (white-flowers). Felt that this was ahead of the Leflaive on the palate - beautifully elegant, this had that additional lift and tension that I didn't get in the Leflaive. So young yet so good, this will no doubt be even better with ageing.

Had at a spectacular WINEBID.com tasting event. Total of 39 wines tasted with an unbelievable lineup ! Bravo to Sterling Roig.
Wow, just when I thought it could not get better in tonight's lineup comes this. Simply incredible ! Aromatic and yet restrained to the nose. Upfront fruit to the tongue with honeysuckle, a small amount of butterscotch, and dried mango and dried peaches and yet oh so reserved.
One of the greatest white wines I have ever had.

Expressive bouquet of flowers and fruits with honey, all sorts of nuts: hazelnut, almonds, marzipan, notes of brioche and hint of spices. Lots of depth and volume. Full body, ideal balance of acidity. Rich on the palate with long finish.
Delicious, graceful, complete Montrachet and my personal winner of this flight.
Exceptionally elegant wine.

Farewell Filippo, Il Duomo table (La Trompette, London): Pale straw. Relatively clean on the nose initially before filling out after 30 mins or so. Smells like proper white burgundy. Real power on the attack. Very long. Serious weight. Lots up frontal lower by a bit of a dip on the mid palate, and then it powers on through the finish tape and keeps going. Plenty of Wright and power, and even line, but just lacks a little energy. **** to ****1/2

Showing signs of premox, though still a fine bottle of wine. Rich lush ripe fruit ie. pineapple, vanilla/malo notes. Palate was a bit finer with a nice zing of acidity not expected from the rather ripe aromas. Classic full bodied Montrachet.

Very young and primary, opened for 6 hours still need active swirling to coax the flavors. Very fresh citrus fruit very backward and elegant, palate showing caramel and great depth, beautiful acidity, very long finish with lots of minerals.

The bets wine of the white bracket for mine. Complex, rich, layered and powerful. Has some spice along with lemon curd and baked apple aromas and flavours. It is textured and really builds through the palate possessing an explosive finish and outstanding length and freshness.

Day Four in Burgundy: Anne Gros, Hudelot-Noellat, Dujac and Drouhin (Cote d'Or): Tasting at domaine. Apple and lemon on nose and palate. Very elegant weightlessness, well supported with lots of acidity, minerality, then power on finish. Plenty of spice from middle to finish, still new oak still slightly pronounced for now, picking up intensity toward end. A very good performance.

France 2013 - Côte d'Or; 4/24/2013-4/26/2013 (Beaune): Tasted at the Domaine. From barrel. In tank, about to be bottled. Rounder nose with beautiful citrus and stone fruits with a hint of wood spice. Weighty and fleshy on the palate but with adequate acidity and a very long finish. Complex and layered. Outstanding potential with proper cellaring (I’d guess at least a decade). (92-95).

Warm shortbread, buttered rustic white bread, rich lime cream tart, ordinary finish, a bit simple, if not flat at the end.

Drouhin event. Reduction, but evolves into something floral and buttery. First bottle linear, whereas second full and more impressive.
