A beautiful burnt golden orange in the glass with intense aromatics of green apple, apricot, orange, peach and melon. On the palate it's a lot of orchard fruit a d toasted nuts. My favorite not complaint is the lack of acidity. Unfortunately this '02 didn't perform quite as well as the spectator '03 I drank almost a year ago.

Considering this had been standing upright in a store for a decade, I was suspicious, but what a classy nose! Very pretty, and totally fresh. Evolved, but not as much as I would have thought. Pineapple custard, decent length, a bit flabby, highly enjoyable.

This wine was way better than I anticipated. The nose bursts with tropical fruits: melon, pear, peach, banana, orange, lemon. It has an oily texture with rich citrus and a mild butter overtone. The fruits roll off your tongue and fade into butterscotch and cream on the finish. This wine could be enjoyed as a starter, main course, or dessert wine. It is extremely versatile. Well done.

I enjoyed this thorougly, however I wish it didn't come off as sweet. Full of tropical fruits, mango, as well as stone fruits, moreso on the palate. Viscous, oily texture with an off dry finish. This is an intense white that again I wish was fermented bone dry. Interesting blend too! Would appeal to quite the audience.

Cost $22.50. The closure is cork with wax on top; the cork is in good condition. The colour is deeply golden. The nose is entirely pleasant and aromatic, and complex! The flavour, too, is complex. In a word, delish. There is spice, too, and a wee bit of off-dryness, although the acidity is somewhat subdued, perhaps from age. A delightful wine to experience. Excellent (87.5).

50% Auxerrois, 35% Chard, 15% Pinot Blanc. Deep gold with a green tint. Nose was very lemony at first sniff, then a little petrol and floral. After a while the honied scents really came into play. This is a really nice wine. Round and ripe yellow fruit, sweet grapefruit followed by nice refreshing acidity. Honied flavors showed throughout the taste and really became noticeable on day 2. Very nice.

Fruit and spice, terroir and the tropics with a bit of chardonnay malo vanilla. Lychees and apricots with minerals. This wine is 50% auxerrois, 35% chardonnay and 15% pinot blanc. You can test all three, blended together.

Golden with hints of green. Light nose. Crisp with good acidity and a bite to it from the Auxerrois. This is a delightful, easily-drinkable everyday quaffing wine. Extremely well-made and good balance.

fairly straight forward white blend, my guess is that the 4+ years of age is a bit more than what it was designed for, as stated below. But still a nice wine, and typical of this domaine in QPR.

Ripe, fruit-driven nose of ripe asian pear, apricot and citrus. Faint cinnamon spice as well as a light nutty note. Broad on the palate, with juicy fruit and good underlying acidty. Very nice.

A blend of Auxerrois, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc. A touch of petrol on the nose. Interesting notes of peaches, pumpkin, and nutmeg. Chardonnay seems to provide some richness, but not much else in the flavor progression. Pinot Blanc comes through loudest. Probably designed for earlier consumption and would guess it is on the downside of its drinking window, as the finish was a little fatigued.

Delicious--med-gold color, very lively and vibrant nose; med-bodied with layers of fruit, lip-smaking finish. Great sipping on its own while cooking, and paired nicely with shrimp & pasta.

Always a winner in my book. Great fruit and acid balance with nothing to hide. Sharp, crisp, and tasty.
