A bit long in the tooth for sure but the wine is not spoiled and is showing oxidized flavors with notes of orange zest and caramel. The finish is nicely complex with a strong mineral note. Good but not great.

A textbook example of why reviews are of bottles, not wines. Two years ago a bottle showed tired and at the end of life. This one was mature, rich and pleasing, not long for this world but still alive and kicking.None of the sherry notes here, smooth old bones, some fruit on the nose, full bodied and decently long on the finish. YMMV, but this was a fine bottle and a classic aged white CDP.

Cork solidly intact. Golden color, creamy mouthfeel. A bit of toastiness in the flavor, fairly straightforward with a bit of pear. Peaked at about fifteen minutes, held for an hour or so and then began to pick up a bit of a sherry component. Finished with good acidity. Not the gem I remember from previous tastings, but not DOA either. Drink now.

At Singer & Foy survey of new Rhones. Bright, brilliant gold. Banana peel nose. Light. Tastes rather watery and acidic. Not good, especially. Need a little fruit and body. 5-10-7-4: 76/100.

Tasted tired and uninspired. Somewhat oxidized. I thought it would be on its second wind, as described in the literature but this just fell flat.
