Brought this to a birthday brunch. Mid gold in color, medium bubbles, nice toast in the mouth - perhaps the toastiest Schramsberg I have had. Went well with a variety of choices - scones, salad, gravy. Would buy more and let it develop a bit longer, but still delicious now.

Nice nose of lemon brioche, pear and some green apple, palate effervescence is intense and zingy acidity carries the citrus fruit to a decent finish. Will continue to evolve I expect

A: Pale gold, fine mousse N: Soft apricot nose, peaches and cream and JTH gets light almond. Not bready at all. P: Stone fruit, white plum, sharper acidity than expected. Granny smith apples. Citric and bright with a touch of hazelnut and almond on the back. Intensity is not deeply concentrated. Its frivolous but fun. Not going to stand up to food. Mid alcohol at (12.5%).
C: JTH could consume this by the mug. I think its very drinkable. I don't spend time contemplating love, wine and grandmasters paintings when drinking this wine. it just disappears quickly.

Soft and smooth on the palate with baked white fruit. Moderate acidity and a soft finish.
