This was more on the crisp/tart side of sauvignon blanc, so not a style all will prefer. However, this wine showed a good deal of complexity for a Napa sauv blanc and held up well on day 2. It's not quite my preferred style, but I can appreciate it on the warmest day (by far) this year. This paired very well with a diverse array of food both nights - bacon wrapped shrimp, beans, and sausage casserole.

This is our favorite California sav blanc. Creamy lemon on entry which is sustained through the finish. This wine will pair very well with anything that pairs with lemon. We had a bottle with Maryland crab made into cakes. OMG. Trying to find some more!

Crisp. Clear. Almost creamy. One of the few CA Sauvignon Blancs we enjoy. Has some complexity that is lacking in less expensive NZ sauv blancs. Another fabulous wine from Ehlers.

Store Tasting (Roseville, MN): This is a very mild sauv blanc which I think would be an excellent food wine. Light in color, with minimal aromas -- especially much less grapefruit/grass than most Cali sauv blancs. Very smooth, with a moderate length finish. My wife enjoyed this more than I.

Consistent with previous bottle. Definitely more on the tropical side of sauvignon blanc but with good acidity and a clean finish. Enjoyable with or without food.

Light yellow color. Vibrant nose of tropical fruits, some white stone fruits, citrus and a touch of gooseberry. Similar flavors on the palate with more of the rich tropical fruit flavors coming through. Zesty acid and a smooth mouthfeel and clean finish. Lovely Cali sauvignon blanc.

Nice refreshing Sauv Blanc. Lost a little by the second day and became more acidic/primal

One of our favorite sauvignon blancs. Very pale yellow, light herbal/grass nose, excellent balance, medium finish.

Tasted this wine along with a CakeBread Cellars Sauvignon Blanc. The acidity was too much. I will use it the rest for cooking.

Very solid Sauv Blanc. Apple, pear. Sweet with nice acidity.
