Very nicely evolved and at its peak. Lush dark fruit, currant, touch of mildly-tart cherry, resolved tannins; just wonderful! Decant (or screen) carefully, as the neck of every bottle is full of baby-powder-fine sediment. Great QPR. Slight heat blemish is gone; no more waiting - Drink 'em up!!

I loved this four years ago at $24/btl; purchased a couple more cases after email alert from winery at $18/btl...great QPR! Dark fruit and currant with a hint of reticent cherry. L-o-n-g legs, just a tiny spot of heat. Solid.

Purchased an 02/03/04 mixed case of the Dog Series at the winery; this is the last of the lot...wish I had bought more, as this is one fantastic bottle of wine at 24 bucks! Dark fruit and currant with a hint of reticent cherry as an afterthought. Despite 15.1% alcohol on label, smooth as silk with no heat.

Nothing special, but certainly a great everyday drinker. Merlot & cab seem dominant, mild red fruit, approachable tannin level, medium finish. Good QPR.

Johnny brought to dinner at Scoozi with peeps after Siduri Wine Tasting. Merlot Cabernet blend only available through winery. Drank from a 1.5L. Dark cherry, Asian spice aromas. Dark red fruit on the palate. Nice length but nothing over the top. Well tamed and accessible with exciting nuances. Well balanced alcohol acidity and tannins with a solid finish.

Nice purple color. Nose offers currant and blueberry. Complex mix of Merlot, Cab, Syrah, and Petite Syrah so there is alot going on.Merlot and Cab dominates but the spice from the Sryah peeks through. A good effort for what it is.

Excellent as always. Sadly, only one more bottle in my cellar. Nice cab blend, paired well with a fillet.

A standard mutt wine; merlot, cab, syrah and petite syrah; mild fruit, mineral, some backbone; underwhelming.
