Never been a big fan of this vineyard, but maybe I just haven't given it enough time. This wine is hitting on all cylinders. The best of all the bottles and my last. PnP. Raspberry, cedar, pine, blackberry. It dies have some alcohol and heat in the nose, but not as pronounced. Red fruits, blackberry, wild berry, cedar, oak, and pine. The heat and alcohol in teh nose don't really show up in the finish.

Oak treatment gave this a deeper color than usual for even a new world pinot. Disappointing, distinctly unbalanced., Fruit faded, and a medicinal note. Medium-high acid took center stage. No obvious wine fault, just unpleasant.

Cherries, strawberries, and floral in the nose and flavor with hints of licorice and spice. Very well balanced with nice complexity, well balanced and a long finish. An excellent match with grilled pork chops.

Open in the bottle for a couple hours; maybe I should have decanted? Nose is dusty and concentrated, hints of raisin and oak. Color and palate are very dark; prunes, dark cherry, cola, super ripe, body on the fuller side but there’s enough acidity to carry it through the finish. The structure is good, it’s a well-made wine, but the taste is a little too new world for my liking.

14.5% abv. Medium burgundy red, very intense aromatics. Raspberry, red cherry, cinnamon, and baking spice with a hint of mint. Light as a feather on the palate, but with great intensity, focus and presence. In a perfect spot right now that should hold for several years. Outstanding.

14.5% abv. Medium Burgundy red, very aromatic. On the palate, raspberry, pomegranate, mint, a floral element and menthol. Great intensity, length and focus. Extremely interesting and enjoyable. This wine seems very vibrant and lively at the moment, but I'd suggest drinking over the next 2-3 years.

PnP. Raspberry, cedar, pine, blackberry. However, there is alcohol and heat in the nose. Red fruits, wild berry, oak, however, the heat and alcohol show up in the finish again. Good, but not near as good as some years. Not sure there is a lot of upside in this wine.

-- popped and poured – -- tasted non-blind over 3 hours on Day 1; revisited on Day 4 after recorking and refrigerating --
NOSE: expressive, "cool" aromas of crushed raspberry, blueberry, and a hint of pine; fruity; not funky or earthy; no alcohol noticeable initially, but it did become a touch fumey after being open for a couple hours; quite nice, but for the hint of alcohol.
BODY: medium-full bodied; blood red color of medium depth with slight bricking throughout; fine particulate matter present.
TASTE: ripe; glossy; medium-low acidity; plush red fruits; a little oaky; probably best to drink now and over the next few years, but *maybe* this sails on its fruit beyond that; the alcohol and oak give me some pause re: extended ageing, however. Better on Day 4 --- less fruity, and now a touch earthy; revising my drink window to Now – 2029, with best drinking perhaps starting in 2 or 3 years. Revising score up from 90 to 91 on Day 4.

Popped and poured. This is big and lush. In balance. Well made. Plenty of nuance. Gets better with some air. A great Cali pinot especially for the price point.

Cherry, earth, oak, well balanced, long finish. Seems fruit would last at least another year but why wait.

This was extremely tight even on the second night. Some nice notes of leather, cherry, and spice, but needs a few more years.
