Popped and poured. consumed over 2 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, cantaloupe, tropical fruit - star fruit, undertones of green apple and lemon butter. Palate: Medium bodied, sweet tropical fruit attack, good balance and mid-palate persistence, minerals appear in the back-end. Finish Medium length dominated by tropical fruit and melon.

Nicely perfumed floral and apple nose. Oily and round on the palate. Just enough acid to not be flabby. A wonderfully delicate, but not weak Pinot Blanc.

Tried this on the recommendation of my fellow pinot pigs,, The Vandlacs, and it did not disappoint. This is everything we enjoy about a good Oregon pinot blanc. Very creamy with a lovely upfront fruit and spice notes. Glad I'm getting more soon.

Oregon Pinot Noir (Trent's): This is nice, but unanimously not in the class of the Elk Cove PG. Silvery gold in color. The nose has minerals and seltzer. It is softer and thinner on the palate. Slightly oily texture. Not much fruit, and a bit flabby. Find drinking but at $23 Ohio, probably not much value.

Popped and poured, consumed over 3 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, minerals, pear, and green apple. Palate: Medium bodied, nice creamy mouth-feel, sweet tropical fruit and mineral attack, holds up well thru the mid-palate, a mini flavor explosion in the back-end is enhanced by a nice acidic kick. Finish: Medium-plus length sense of tropical fruit and minerals.

Tasted at estate. Better than the pinot grid before it, more tropical fruit, rounder tannins.
