2 of 3 purchased on release. Brought this to a serious white burgundy lovers 40th birthday wine dinner. Served in a double blind lineup which included premier crus from Raveneau, Coche Dury, Leflaive, Latour, and Remoissenet from a wide range of vintages 1979-2014.
This bottle held up well against impressive competition. It had all of the luscious sweet yellow and tropical fruit I have come to expect from this le dit refreshed and balanced with the acidity and leaner nature of the 1989 vintage. This bottle reflected that balance particularly well and was just delicious

Learning (or finally learning) the same lesson. The wrong night for this wine - too hot. The wine seemed heavy and advanced and too big for outside on a lovely summer night when the only thing one wants is a properly refreshing rose' or a beer. This was not the same experience as my last bottle, but one must always understand context. I have more bottles of this and will definitely serve them in the correct setting.

Burgundy dinner with multiple villages wine and food pairing. Bottle, fill, cork and color all excellent, label was mangled. Beautiful wine with mature bouquet, really lovely with hors d'oeurves. Drink now.

Nutty nose, very good minerality in the taste. Lovely, but drink soon.
