Still fruity and fragrant in the nose with lots of tropical fruits; on the palate, fruity and sweet without the wood bitterness in 2016; long finish; 89-90 points at this more mature stage.

Quite fragrant in the nose with a lot of ripe fruits, apricots, grapefruits, pears, pineapples, starfruits, and yellow flowers; still tight on the palate with layers and layers of sweet stewed fruits; long finish mirroring the palate yet with some wood bitterness; needed quite a long time to breathe in the bottle first; overall, 88-89 points at this stage.

Always an interesting blend. Very floral. This vintage seems a tad sweeter than I recall from the past, but it still works well with many types of food.

It's beautifully and intensely perfumed -- a very slutty kind of wine. The assemblage of varietals is interesting. It was served very cold, but it still gets cloying after some sips.

As of today, with over 100 reviews, the CT community has scored this at 87.3. I would argue that it scores a bit higher - 89 points perhaps. The Conundrum blend is fairly consistent from year to year.

Refreshing with a white blend. Feels like the blend covers all the bases; hay, wet grass and a bit of oak on the nose while being both dry and sweet. An adventurous white while still being a crowd pleaser. Would recommend and try again.

This is a complex white wine with many layers of flavor. Apricot, Asian pear, green apple, citrus, flowers, and herbs. Matches well with anything in a cream sauce.

This is a very, very nice white wine with sweet fruit and tartness, good acidity, complexity, bottle after this wine is a favorite. I am raising my rating.

Rich yellow in color which, along with the thick legs portends the weight of this wine. Very big in the mouth with an intense palate of tropical fruits and yellow and white flowers recalling the nose. Needs more acidity to balance the fruit, -- weren't previous vintages like that? -- but tasty nonetheless. Spicy foods are its friend. Beringer Blanc is a better all around choice.

Pear apple pineapple yummy for the tummy easy to drink good for the general public everyday white. Call a spade a spade. Made for mass consumption and sometimes that is just fine. Double yum and a quarter

Apricot and floral on the nose. Apricot and pear flavors. A but on the sweet side, but should be a crowd pleaser. Great summer wine if kept very chilled while enjoying.

Yeaaahhh.....ummmmm....no. I wish wines like this came with an 'expectations' label. I wasn't expecting an ice wine or Riesling in this 'blend', but that's what I mostly got. The back of the bottle description does include the word 'apertif', so I guess they really do set expectations. Lesson learned....RTFM. :-). Best served fully refrigerated. You'll notice the syrupy pour right off. Then the heavy-ish swirl, and sides-of-the-glass clinginess....lots of sugar in this beverage. That being said, it paired nicely with grilled garlic chicken, roasted sweet potatoes with onions, tomatoes, oregano and Parmesan. Sweet wines really aren't my thing, but I get it. I'd like to have this with a spicy chicken relleno!

Fuller bodied white, a touch on the sweet side (off dry) - would appeal to a variety of tastes. This is a great drink on its own, or paired with chicken or pasta with a white or olive oil sauce. Not too acidic and full of tropical flavors with a good balance of fruit while the tartness most likely coming from the colder temperature at which it was served. Sure to be a crowd pleaser at a patio party.

The Conundrum White is one of our favorite wines to serve as a aperitif and as a dinner wine with fish and pork meals. Consistently very good to excellent. This vintage does not have the complexities of some other years, but is still very enjoyable, served cold. Very nice light straw color, plenty of apple, melon, and citrus fruit flavor, good acidity, nice balance.

Very light color. Tropical fruity nose. Melange of fruit salad on the palate. Touch more sweet than I prefer but went nicely with the Marshall Islands style ceviche. Very Good.

I agree with other comments that this is definitely on the sweet side. Though it isn't horrible, it is a little too sweet for my taste. (btw, my score doesn't reflect my personal preferences)
It's much like a muted Ice Wine.

We had this wine with Sushi. She thought it was a little sweet but I thought it was pretty smooth. Somewhere in between is best bet. The wine looks light gold colored. The legs are fast. It smells like apple with some citrus zest. It tastes like pear, peach and apricot. The body is light/medium. The wine has bright texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity. Good summertime wine!

This one of those wines you just turn on the taste buds and enjoy what is in the glass. Don't bother trying to distinguish the individual contribution of the various varietals. Just let the blend do it's thing. This one never disappoints. But, You can't help but notice the aromatics of the Muscat which Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay could never produce. Thick and rich on the palate, just like Viognier mixed with Chardonnay. Nice golden straw color. All kinds of fruit like peach, nectarine, tangerine, apricot, pear, melon, and grapefruit. A nice, not overly acidic, smooth mouth feel.

At a tasting a few weeks ago I thought this was very sweet and worried it would only pair well with spicy foods or serve as a summer deck sipper. Today, it's still a bit sweet but not too much and is showing more depth. Still a fairly straight forward blend that's easy to drink but will pair with foods beyond spicy or simple. Given the great praise of the 2012 vintage I was expecting more but this is still nice and sticks to the house style of previous Conundrums.

I recently walked through a flower warehouse, and this wine smells like everything in there. Some of these intense floral notes are a bit pungent, and there’s this lychee and white peach stuff as well. On the palate, this is rich and ripe, all sorts of melon, grapefruit, yellow apple. I get this other honey, orange marmalade, lychee nut and lavender stuff going on. I like a lot of acid in this kind of wine, so it’s a bit low for my tastes, and there is sweetness to this perfume. I’ve liked and disliked previous vintages of this wine, but the 2012 seems to show some balance and nuance. What grapes are in here? I don’t know. That’s their whole shtick. I’m guessing there’s at least some Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat, Riesling and possibly Gewurz, but who knows…
