At RockNFish, Manhattan Beach. Green without the aggression of many NZs. Granny Smith apples, sweet pea pod (sugar snap?), creamy texture and energy on the finish. Not my favourite but G enjoyed.

A lot of wines (Raj's Birthday); 9/25/2015-9/26/2015 (Cleveland Heights): I suspect this was better a year or two ago. Its very good, but doesn't have the raciness I might like to see. Light gold in color. The nose is clean. Minerals and slight peaches. On the palate, this is round. More minerals than fruit. Dry. Solid wine and enjoyable.

Pale straw yellow color in the glass. Aromas of tart green apple, lemon meringue, slate and guava. The palate brings orange peel, marmalade, guava, mango and more mineral notes. The wine is medium bodied, with high acidity and a medium long, juicy finish. It's a bit different what I would expect from a New World sauvignon blanc (it actually reminds me more of an albarino), but very enjoyable. I really like the mix of different fruit represented - it's like drinking a fruit salad.

The wine is clear and bright with a pale gold colour.
The nose is clean and developing, showing medium(+) intensity aromas of tropical fruit (mango, pineapple), green fruit (very ripe pear), oak (walnut) and herbaceous notes (asparagus).
The wine is off-dry in the mouth with a high zesty acidity. It has a medium alcohol and a medium(+) body. It has pronounced intensity flavours of tropical fruit (mango, pineapple), green fruit (very ripe pear), oak (walnut) and herbaceous notes (asparagus). The finish is long.
It is an outstanding quality wine. It has a lingering finish and a lot of fruit concentration that is balanced by the fresh acidity. It also shows clearly the character of Sauvignon Blanc.
Can drink now, but it has enough acidic structure and fruit concentration to develop a bit more of tertiary aromas over the next 1-2 years.

Aromatic nose, asian pear and flowers. Round on the palate and medium bodied, dry, with a clean acid finish. There's some citrus in the finish too. Great with sushi.

This rendition of the Fume Blanc is, I think, excellent. There is more stone and chalk, a dusty nose and flinty palette, both quite fine. The minerality seems up a notch, as well - all in all, superior.
Rated 2 on a scale of -1 to 3 by comparison to past vintages, QPR, and current drinking.
I do not have expectations of this wine to cellar, possibly my shortsightedness; it is too young to express secondary/ tertiary development, but, why wait?

Served at Society of Bacchus winter dinner last night. No formal notes. This is a full, flavorful, delicious Sauvignon Blanc. Like many California SB's, it has lots of tropical fruit in addition to the more typical varietal flavors of grapefruit and herbs. It paired well with the salad course and was well liked by everyone at my table.

At Brown's Beach House, Fairmont Orchid, Big Island. A bold version of oaked Sauv Blanc, big bodied (which suggests ripeness) and on the extreme side of grassy (which doesn't). Interesting to have both in the same wine.

Didn't take very detailed notes. This is prototypical Sauvignon Blanc. Very grassy, almost like cat pee (I know that sounds not great, but figure it's on the nose more than the palette and it kindof works ok in this wine). It's crisp and pretty refreshing. Paired well with some Asian-Latin fusion food.

On the nose: classic Sauvignon aromas of green grass, snap peas, white peach, honeysuckle, green apple. Medium-bodied, medium+ acid provides some tang. Green apple, grapefruit, orange pith, backed up by green pea and herbs, slightly less intense than I was assuming from the nose. Some wildflower, nutty and almond notes on the finish. Tasty stuff, but quite intense and herbal.

Enjoyable and interesting, not always true with sauv blanc. Petrol nose. Nice mouthfeel. Then citrus. Great acid, of course.

Bright grapefruit with a grassiness to it. A little jalapeño pepper comes in on the finish. Interesting but really not my style.

Moderate body and medium-long duration. Color yellow-golden blend.
Flavors were a lemon-pepper base with hints of fennel and bitter citrus. Hint of a buttery texture at the end of tasting. Smooth
