It has deep ruby color. The color doesn't seem like it's been 10 years. Beautiful aromas of black berry, black cherry, jamminess, cedar, vanilla, some green pepper. Mouth: It has medium to medium plus body and medium tannin. High intensity of flavor. Flavor includes black berry, cedar, chocolate, some greens. It has medium plus acidity and well integrated. It tastes well know and has a potential to age further.

Decanted 1h. Violet colour. Blueberry, plum cedar. Tannins already integrated but still a little bit harsh. Good to drink now or to wait a few year. Nice Margeaux.

Nice bordeaux and ready to go go with very little decant. Dry and tannic with red fruits and leather, dry spices. Acid slightly higher than optimal if drinking on its own, though would be just fine with food.

Tasted next to 2015. Not quite as concentrated and dense, but well balanced and still quite generous. Nice tannic backbone, good acidity and length. Drink or keep. 89-91

Decant - 3 hours Appearance - no bricking, mostly transparent Nose - licorice, oak, vanilla, rosemary Palate - raspberry, oak Tannins - still a little bitter in the finish but soft and pleasant Conclusion - very nice especially for price, drinking well now but should improve with time

Not very complex, but what there is is very nice and pleasing to drink. A little thin but very pleasant flavours lead pencil, pencil shavings, violets and that's basically it. A pleasant wine. Drink now, I don't see this getting any better

If folks didn't know the price point and had this In a line-up of Grand Crus I'd bet this one would fit in inconspicuously. Terrific nose of spice, tobacco, earthiness...tawny fruitiness balanced by structured tannins. Maybe shorter on the finish than could be hoped for, but this bottle seriously impresses on the QPR. Show off your nose for value with this one.

Double decanted about 2 hours before serving and served with grilled and marinated flatiron steaks. This is a very good cru bourgeoisie Margaux from a decent year. The nose is wonderful with cassis and red fruit (rasberries). Little short in the mid range and finish, but very soft round tannins. I think it is a bit overpriced here, but still may buy a few more. I think it will improve for 2-3 years and be around for about 10 or so.

With an earthy nose, the wine is filled with fresh black raspberries and cassis. From a blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, the wine reached 13% alcohol. 88-90 Pts

Medium full bodied. Flavor profile reminiscent of a good Napa Cabernet. Smooth tannins.

From a half, decanted for 1 hour. Typical Margaux on the nose, medium bodied and smooth tannins. Already enjoyable.

Medium/full bodied, round, soft and polished, the fruit is ripe, the wine is approachable and end with a supple, cocoa and black cherry finish.
