Whites by more famous Red makers.....& vice versa. (Grill Room, Hong Kong Country Club, Shouson Hill, Hong Kong): With oysters. Screw cap. Silver gold. Nose is merest hint of petrol, bone dry and white meadow flowers fresh. Palate is bone dry, chalky backbone. Wow…so fresh and precise, linear precision which shows the benefit of no cork at this age. Wow….a beautiful light whisky smoky element comes out. Hints of white shoe cream. A revelation. Tons of years ahead for this to develop further so I have changed the CT drinking window accordingly. Thanks, Jermemy! 93+

Still great. Classic australian riesling, with a deep fruit core and petroleum on the nose. Balanced and long, have gained complexity and holds it´s ground against any old world riesling in the same price ange.

Excellent complex petrol flavour when drinking without food and an oily texture. With food the petrol gives way to a more balanced experience with hints of fruitiness and complexity.

Golden yellow colour. Aromas of lemon, limes, flowers, honey, toast and a hint of petrol. Similar flavours, along with minerals. Great length and powerful intensity.

Clear slightly golden colour. Mineral and stonefruit on the nose. Dry with medium body and wonderful acidity. Taste is balanced with ripe fruit, mineral and a touch of smoke. Well done! Will last for several years to come.

At the age of ten, this was a lively wine, with a good backbone, ripe, balanced, fresh. In fact the freshness surprised me, as I expected a sunburned heavyweight. I apologize, and I really enjoyed this classy wine.

Hits you with bundles of lime, real mouth watering citrus then flips to finish with a more minerally tang, good length. This is great to drink now but has many years ahead of it yet as the fruit is still so fresh.

Same flavours as before but this bottle was lacking some fruit intensity and length - maybe not stored as well as previous bottles before purchase?

Lots of lime and also some petrol. Fat for a riesling. Could have done with a bit less of the petrol. Good QPR.
