Explosive and sustained floral aromatics soar from the glass. It's really almost too much (a bit like drinking perfume), and odd in terms of the contrast with a relatively light and somewhat dull palate, which is dry but has a bit of foxy "muscat" flavor to it. Interesting stuff though that gets points for the aromatic expressiveness, and Jill loves it.

Blind tasting. Superb nose of litchee, rose and indian spices. Mouth surprising, really flavoured and perfumed : jasmin, orchid and mellow of apricot. But soft and lacking acidity. Globally unbalanced and saturated but one of the best muscat d'Alexandrie I had (actually a blend with Albanello). A rare wine that could match a sweat-sour asian food. Even if it is not my taste : that's a must have in an amateur cellar.

Nose: Ripe peaches, lemon & orange peel, white flowers, some acacia honey and a fresh sliced lychee. The fruit is very upfront here nevertheless a lovely nose. Palate: Medium bodied wine with a bit to less acidity for my personal taste. The Alcohol (only 12,5%) isn´t noticeable. Quite nice bitterness on the medium+ finish.
A wonderful summer wine, which will pair well with some sea food.

Young and fresh with grilled lemon, ripe peach, spices and crushed stones. Lovely and intriguing nose. Reminds me a bit of a white wine from the southern Rhône.
Medium acidity, medium+ body. Yellow apples, tropical fruits and crushed stones on the palate. Rich and refreshing! It grew with air and rising temperature.
Another lovely, personal wine from Arianna. Drinking very good in it's youth but would be fun to save a couple of bottles for some years. I'm pretty sure that it would turn out very good.

Malic acid. Strong apple cider vinegar, yeast and natural funk. Some bitterness, medium+ body, minerality and a great deal of herbal qualities (tarragon, oregano, basil etc.). Powerful aromatics.

Not for your average white wine drinker - really complex nose with hints of honeysuckle and a citrus finish if really cold. I prefer it slightly chilled so you get more of a rounded finish

Drinking on Day 2. Lost some of the energy but still pretty and enjoyable. Enjoy it more at closer to room temperature when all the notes and deepness really comes out. Lychee, mangosteen, tropical fruits. Wonder if it would improve with a few years if I enjoyed this better on the second day. Great QPR. Buy more.

Enjoy this wine though see how much it differs from vintage to vintage. Deep golden, honey color. Big nose of floral notes, lychee, muscat or rousanne like notes. Not sweet at all. Natural verve and good mouthfeel. Drinks differently at cold temp vs when it warms up and becomes even more giing. Alcohol def in check. I actually thought this was good for the price pt (as opposed to some other reviewers). I enjoy this and buy some every year.

Big floral nose followed by a powerful dry palate, seemingly indestructible. We opened it to go with a wide assortment of tapas and it seemed too big and structured for some of them. It was much more in balance after three days. Greenblanket cannot compute.

Geeks and geeky wines with GeekWire (Bottlehouse, Seattle, WA): A huge, floral nose that screams of Moscato. Peaches and mandarin oranges just blast out of the glass. There is just a bit of reductive road tar or pine resin hiding beneath the more blowsy personality that hints at something else to come. And then WHAM, the palate has a completely different personality. Assertively dry and very challenging at first. Deep, toasty, intellectual. Almost reminiscent of an orange wine in terms of the structure (skin contact?). This one really needs to be followed for hours.

Naso incredibilmente generoso, bergamotto, frutta esotica, fiori e tante erbe aromatiche, origano, timo anche pepe bianco. Esuberante, siciliano! La bocca è ben fatta con retrolfatto coerente e buon equilibrio. Beva assassina aiutata dai 12%.

Huge nose. White flowers and white fruits, guava maybe honeysuckle. Palate is mid weight. Very different flavor profile than the nose suggests. Kind of a weird rhubarb/bell pepper or something in the mid palate which is hard to place. Quite a long finish though. Quite interesting. Probably more suited for the wine geek than the everyday quaffer.

Deep and rich lemon-gold color. Lovely, fragrant moscato-ish nose of lychee, apricot, sweet melon, cinnamon. This disappoints a little on the palate, maybe because the nose was telling my brain to expect something sweet. In any case, this is too purely floral for my tastes, though nicely balanced and quite interesting. Even if this was a profile I loved, the price point seems way too high.

Floral, melon and kiwi and grassy, natural wine wildness. But the palate is flat and boring. Pleasant enough to sip on when served very cold but no more. Outrageously overpriced for its quality and $28, this should be no more than $15.

Smells like a sweet muscat and I totally agree with other tasters on the lychees predominating. The surprise is the dry palate which does open up to reveal a slate-like minerality with a refreshingly light and almost diluted body. Amazing that this freshness can come from Sicily. Nothing great but fun as a blind tasting curio.

Fragrant. Smells of Lychee. Dry white with aromatic and taste of orange peel. Long Lasting. Great with fried clams and other fried seafood. Not a favorite.

Pretty cool wine. Very aromatic with basil, rose and other floral component. There's also an orange candy note, pretty intense. Where the nose would lead you to believe the wine is going to be sweet, it is totally dry with an interesting minerality on the palate (chalk). This was actually much better in a burgundy glass than in a tight one.

Light straw yellow, clear. Very aromatic nose, of dry aromatic herbs, Moscato sweetness and a balsamic touch. The Moscato sweetness sensation is felt also on the palate (which is dry, however!). Light-footed but with excellent aromatic intensity from start to finish - which lasts remarkably long. Very enjoyable, fine and a great QPR. ***
Edit: I report that the leftovers in the bottle (perhaps 1/3) were left in the fridge for about 20 days and were still very good and enjoyable.
