PnP. Medium red. Lovely nose of red fruits especially cherry with some spice. This is quite intense on the palate driven by a velvety texture and red fruits and a long finish. Better than last bottle I think and likely close to peak. Lovely wine.

Slo-oxed for 20 minutes, but will have to agree with Rick 4 Wine that more air time is better -- a 20-30 minute decant may work best. A medium violet color with dark red fruit (black cherry) and forest floor on the nose. These follow on to the medium bodied palate along with some spice, balancing acidity and a touch of tannins. Should hold for another couple (?few?) years.

5 1/2 years after the prior: Rosenst1’s note below describes it very well. To that we will add: elegant, savory, with refreshing acidity. The hints of cola on the first night that we had noted years ago happily did not exist in this bottle. Extremely enjoyable over three nights. We suspect this will hold well for a few years, but alas, our last.

PnP. Medium deep red. Intense nose of cherries and spice. On the palate this is multi-dimensional with cherry, rhubarb, and lavender, as well as spicy notes. Lovely palate depth and elegance with little in the way of tannins to resolve but very good acid to cleanse the palate. This seems to be in its drinking window but no rush.

Served with grilled pork tenderloin, risotto rice, salad. Lovely sweet cherry nose. Medium garnet. Dry but with a somewhat candied flavor, and not quite balanced. After some time earthy flavor appeared. The wine probably should have been decanted, giving it some air. Nonetheless a pleasant wine.

Classic, delicious Sonoma Coast pinot noir. Love the intensity and brightness to balance out the ripe, slightly candied red cherry fruit. Loads of spice. Long finish.

Light ruby with translucent edges. Lovely balance, fine acidity. Off-putting cola and somewhat sweet notes in the first night gave way on the second to lovely hints of earth and forest. By the third night it was singing. (Zalto burg glasses used all three nights, what a difference that makes -- we tried it with other glasses as well, but the Zaltos are superior.)

Drinking nicely here. Benefits from 30-45 minutes of slow ox from the cellar.

Lovely after decanting but didn't hold together well after dinner.

Very aromatic, with intensely focused and very precise Pinot flavors. Should continue to improve.
