Tasted blind and was surprised by the wine. Pronounced nose intensity with notes of vanilla, white flora, mineral, grapefruit, ripe lemon. Long finish and high acidity. Will not improve anymore. Drink up. Drinking at its best now.

Wow... this is a homerunner! Stunning aromas of fresh citrus, layers and layers of honey and flowers, nutty(as the temperature goes up) Apple and exotic fruits at the end. On the palate, superb energy, vivid acidity which is refreshing, and yet with tones of nuances and waves of aromas. A stunner and though it has a long life ahead, this is at a splendid stage now. Will be difficult to hold back the other bottles! Cheers,

Great nose, white flowers, lemon zest, sea spray. Slightly softer now, good acidity, good concentration. Lots of citrus, lime in particular, raw green vegetable , hazelnut. Fine length. Great finesse. Still tasting pretty fresh. It's the combination of depth with intensity and yet a lightness that is so remarkable. Not really helped by the coronation turkey.

Pored with touch of gold then lightened to a paler yellow. Deceptive. seems quite light and airy then you get the intensity of flavour and length. Citrus, almond oil, green vegetables, apple. Very fine.

Pale; an elegant, refined & precise bouquet, after struck matchstick quickly blew off; crisp, focused palate, very pleasing; soothing finish, fair length. Flatters to deceive, just lacks a certain spark.

Very lightly touched by any color and it looks like an antique, faded yellow. Lemon zest and mineral water aromas. Fresh entry. Lively lemon and then followed by an interplay of a mineral wash and salinity. Fine acidity. Excellent. 91

A bit disappointing. I thought with some age it would get better but a bit disjointed. Nose muted compared to when it was young. Taste a bit acidic and lacking in vibrancy. Not quite the energetic bottle I originally tried. Not sure age does well with these.

Medium-full aromas of stone fruit, green apple and mineral. Palate has terrific precision and intensity. White and yellow fruit all day with loads of saline and mineral. Tart acidity provides tension and verve. Long and still quite energetically youthful.

Citrus and melon when poured, with a mineral backing. Balanced on the palate, not too acidic, clean crisp finish. Started to show more oak as it warmed up. A pleasure to drink.

Gorgeous aromatics of green apple, mineral and spice. Palate is impeccably balanced with a crisp mouthfeel and loads of acidic tension. Chiseled with a long, lifted finish.

Smokey nose, with citrus, acacia, oyster shell, and flint. On taste, citrus and liquid rock, with excellent intensity and supreme balance. Really nice bottle with a saline mineral finish with citrus tones. Really great value if you start comparing to similar tasting wines.

Still firm and reductive. An hour or so of air helps to open up the wine and reveal underlying minerality and citrus peel. Classic St Aubin.
