golden yellow color with light reflexes nose with quince and light tropical fruits intense and balanced fruits at palate with light caramel and butter biscuit now great; however, will stay and might even develop further the next few years

Lightly sweet tropical fruit and white peach. Maybe a little oily mouth feel. Well balanced, ethereal, with a nice dry, acidic leading to a long finish. Very composed and well made. Drinking well now and no sign of decline.

I really like this wine. It seems to be in a perfect place for drinking. It has spearmint, a little chalk, some anise, minerality, and a medium finish.

A charming, textbook effort. Golden fruits, acids that whisper more than cut, graceful lines, and a mineral frame that complements the core of fruit and acid in a way that makes this dangerously easy to drink. That said, if you've got some, they're in no danger of decline, though I'd say this has entered its preferred window, and should remain here for many years. Tradition, but not at the expense of austerity or paucity of fruit. Beautiful. highly recommended

Some funky minerally woolly notes, especially on opening, but also follows up with beautiful fruit. With time, the nose is anise-scented and herbal. Gets rich in the mouth, but with a nice grapefruit edge. Good finish. Been a long time since I've enjoyed a white wine this much.

An interesting flavor profile with notes of perhaps buckwheat or sorghum with lots of minerality. Not what I would call a fruity wine (and that's not what I was after), but it has a very complex and creaminess on the finish. Very nice.

Rich sweet fruit (white peach?) well balanced with a nice dry, acidic leading to a long finish. Very composed and well made. Drinking well now but still youthful.

as before in 2020
slightly developed further; in my opinion on its peak; expect to stay there for 2 or 3 further years

Notes as before, complex mineral animal and fruit notes. Ample power and nicely balanced, it’s drinking great and doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

Very composed, beautiful mineral and floral tones. Nothing sharp or pronounced.

Extremely characterful and pretty damn serious Gruner with lots of dimension and length. But really this is for the cellar.
