80% Ch 10 each of PN 4gr dosage On the nose: Yellow apples, elder, forest floor, yeast, white flowers, mineral and vanilla. On the palate: Very powerful with seville orange, blond grape, bread and a tune of mango and salt in the finish. The mousse is perfect but the vintage is hard. Still good acidity Medium + finish

Considering the vintage this is a great effort. Wonderful acidity and texture. Pear, apple, grapefruit, lemon all on the nose. Actually sweet ripe golden apple predominates.Finish is medium too long. Great chalky seem. Mouth watering and delicious. Happy

Short note. Hmm… Typical 2007 kind off, a middle of the road vintage, that is missing the punch you would get from a good/great vintage. Nose is sweet and a bit flat, showing mainly yellow fruits and some spices and bread notes. Palate is equally somewhat flat and almost bland. Sweet yellow exotic fruits, creamy, chalky and with good mousse, but lacking in energy, acidity and complexity. I believe that this would be a truly superb Champagne in another vintage, given how good of a producer Geffroy is and the excellent work and quality he works with, but the 2007 does not really sing to me. Decent, but no cigar. (87 – 89?)
