Tasted over 3 hrs -brilliant med dark red -moderately expressive rich ripe black cherry -med acidity, med weight med concentration ripe but not not over-ripe earthy cherry with bitter fruit pit element adding a splash of complexity to the finish with slightly rustic med/med- tannins -this is really excellent for what it is and still drinking very well in what I suspect is its slowly declining phase, a little better if more faded than the last bottle

Tasted over 2 hrs -nearly semi-translucent dark red faint light purple with mild clearing at rim -bright red fruit faint black pepper -med acidity, med/med- weight lively pretty red fruited, med tannins are slightly dried out -very pleasant Bourgogne still doing well though definitely evolved over the past 5 years

Rite of Spring at Chevalier Wines (Chicago, IL): Shows a fair bit of stems on the nose and palate. Not the softest nor most easy-going of AOC Bourgogne, this has a bit of tough tannin and is surprisingly dense with not too much showing on the palate except for really chalky tannin. The nose is much better than the palate here.

Opened tonight after two years in our cellar. Still feels quite young, certainly would benefit from additional time. Mild acidity, medium finish. Deep garnet hue with a slight purple rim and medium opacity. Dried blueberry, plum.

PopnPour, tasted over 3 hrs and day 2 -nearly opaque dark red very faint purple near rim -slightly creamy dusty soft cherry fruit and earth -barely med acidity, lighter weight but moderately sappy earthy red cherry mid-palate with fleeting medicinal note and abundant chalky tannins, opens up considerably after 2 hrs; similar on Day 2 -good for the appellation, should be better in 3-5 years
General Note: so far lower end 2012 red Burgs seem to be a hypothetical mix of 2009 soft ripe fruit but more in the red spectrum and 2010 intensity though less minerality and clarity

Allowed to breathe for thirty minutes prior to tasting. Ruby in color and transparent with minimal legs. On the nose there was an immediate essence of fruit, followed by strawberry, blackberry, and note of raspberry, with a hint of soft spice. On the palate there was spice, blackberry, strawberry, and rounded yet prevalent tannins. There was a lingering finish with grip and a persistent tannin structure. It was medium bodied, and can lie down for a few years. Very approachable now as a commendable Burgundy.

Served blind for AWG. Light ruby with cherry, raspberry, floral components, and dusting of spice. Most thought grenache over pinot, though seemed more texturally pinot to me. Good acidity, kind of tart, enough fine tannin to hold a while. Very good regional Bourgogne. 88-89

Light , deep red with violet rim. Somewhat closed and some sulphur nose in the beginning. After some decant showing more of raspberry/ strawberry. Fresh and well structured on the palate. Good lenght and tight finish. Good regional burgundy with a few years to go.

Surprisingly full body, ripe fruit in the back, but a tad too bitter finish. Maybe just over the top... hard to rate.

Kryddig, elegant, skogshallon, lite läder och svamp. Syrligt, bärigt och lite stramt. Rejäl längd. Gott.

I suspect this is corked, but i am too lazy to retrieve another bottle so this will do. Paired with duck & brie.
Don't judge me.

Excellent plush and ripe red fruit for it's level. Some light spice and herbal notes add interest. In a terrific spot now.

Deeper scarlet; powerful nose, smoky, meaty red cherry, floral, somber; palate is ok but not the balance I'm looking for in a Bourgogne.
