Perhaps showing a little advanced. Bouquet had persistent dang gui, tea leaves, shittake mushrooms, dark plums and sois bois. Palate a little more complex with ripe cherries, rose liquer, tree bark and spices. Good weight and structure with velvety tannins. I actually quite liked this! I thought this was 2002 Echezeaux

Medium-light garnet, light for a grand cru. Initially closed but then more expressive nose of crunchy red fruit, some oak and spices. This is elegant but at least in tonight's' showing it is too light for a GC. May be time will improve it, wait 2-3 years before drinking.

Punchy and vibrant from get go. Smells of red jelly cristals just as they're hit with hot water. There are also notes of cherry and pommegranate along with some aniseed and other spices. It is sweet, creamy and plush with a palate of liquid velvet. You get a little floral nuance as you move through the bottle and it is impecably well balanced, delicious and quite long.

tatt for tidlig. god modenhet og nydelig, raus nese. litt bitre tanniner og litt for ufokusert nå, trekker ned. La ligge så lenge.

Fine and mid-weight with nice balance and proportion. There are notes of red fruits and floral spice. It is silky of texture and quite persistent.

After WWS, KEVIN & KELLY IN BURGUNDY – FAIVELEY, BOUZEREAU, MERME, REMOISSENET, DUJAC & COMTE LIGER-BELAIR; 11/11/2013-11/14/2013 (Burgundy): Vineyard close to Chambolle and it shows. Pretty elegant nose displaying flowers, bright red fruits, raspberry, a hint of sesame and mushroom. Airy and elegant palate. Very pretty and pure wine.
