Smooth, well integrated in the pallet. Approach is black cherry followed by dark berries and a long finish with light vanilla, oak, and slight jam. Decanted for about an hour, was even better on day 2. At or near peak. Would definitely recommend.

A well perfumed red berries driven Sonoma Cabernet. Well aged but still fresh with solid acidity and soft tannins it’s drinking perfectly at 9 years old.

Beautifully smooth red/black fruited gem. In a great drinking window for those that like their fruit softened but still upfront. Tannins are sweet and smooth with no sharp edges. This is A++ quality. Easily the best SS cab I've ever had.

Not a lot of nuance. More feminine than the bigger Cabernets from this estate. I don’t think it will get much better. Leave some time for this to open up.

The oak on the nose of this wine was very noticeable but provided wonderful notes of blackberry, currant and chocolate. A bit of a style change from the Rockfall.

Rich and enveloping nose of blackberry, creamy vanilla, sugared plum, and some eucalyptus on PNP. Minimal complexity or nuance on the palate, but I sense this was created to be primarily a fruit forward wine from inception. Soft and well integrated tannin at this point. A good straightforward Cabernet at this price point which may yield some secondary elements in a few years. A 28 day dry aged Porterhouse would be this wines best friend.
