This is excellent and fully mature - purple cab fruit, shows Napa sweetness without overripeness, lots of “rutherford dust” and cedary tertiary notes. Reminds me a lot of some of the well-preserved late 60s Napa cabs I’ve had at Berns over the years. Super terroir; obviously, and it shows.

This was delicious. New French oak completely integrated and tannins rich and velvety. Nice dark color but also thinner in transparency than I expected. Nose has wonderful mocha and rich blue fruits. Balanced and harmonious in all aspects.

This bottle of wine was absolutely worth the wait! The tannins are soft and lush, but you can still walk away with a vague reminiscent slap on your palate. I didn't take too many notes, but it had a great nose, scent of Vanilla and extremely drinkable with complexity. Great wine!

Brought to a friends house; didn't take detailed notes. Decanted approximately 60~90 minutes. Nose was really inviting with classic cassis, cedar and cigar notes. Taste followed the nose. Good balance between the fruit, acids and tannins. Maybe a bit heavy on the oak (don't see that going away) but still a very nice wine that paired very well with our steak.

Ripe, round nose that gains complexity in the glass. Showing some age but still has plenty of fruit. Tannins and minerally finish are well integrated. Lengthy finish.

Very Nice. Needed quite a bit of time to open up and the oak to settle down. The 100% new french shows through a bit, but the wine has admirable grace and freshness for the opulence it also displays.

Very funky when opened -- but that blew off after 45 mins in the decanter. Should have decanted longer. By the end of dinner this was outstanding. Not a classic california cab -- more high notes and red fruit than expected, but very much in balance with good persistence and a very nice understated quality.

This was a great wine. It was full bodied, powerful and tantilzing on the taste buds. Deep berry but great balance of tanin. WOW.
