Lunch at Les 110 de Taillevent London: Interesting to try this producer with some age as I do have my doubts whether such new-school Burgs can age as gracefully as those from yesteryear. Unmistakably Vosne on the nose and the palate, pretty floral and spicy nose, attractive dark fruits on the palate. In a good spot and probably at peak.

Such a pretty nose of red fruits, spicey oak and a little earthiness. The palate has a smooth richness that seems to melt on your tongue, then that gentleness then bursts with fruits, acidity and smooth tannins, not as expressive as when last tasted over a year ago, so will leave my last 2 bottles a few years to develop further. Certainly worth seeking out to try and #giveanewwineago #burgundynick bought en primeur @laywheeler £43 now double that, these wines are no longer cheap but a superstar in the making, perhaps! 91 points

This is an awesome #pinot from a #superstar in the making. Certainly worth seeking out to #giveanewwineago but it is expensive but worth every penny available @laywheeler . 91 Points

Monthly Tuesday group "The Dead Sparrow" #023; Vosne Romanée (By VD): In the bouquet toasted oak, dark and red berries, rustic and classical. On the palate juicy black berries, herbs, licorice, fennel, aromatic, smoke, minerals and a bit rustic. Juicy acidity and round tannin with a pleasant bite. Overall a very good complexity. Wait 5+ years for more finesse and complexity. For tonight 91 - 92.

Quadruple decanted. Needed every bit of it. Tart. Reduced. Red cherry fruit. A bit of oak char. Likely better in 3-5 years.

This is very good, just about ready but has years ahead. Delicious primary red fruit and wonderfully balanced. Tip top Pinot, tip top Vosne. 91 points
