Had this as a second wine after 2017 Arborina from Bovio. On paper more modern.. Darker colour than expected. The Terlo had a small sweetness to it. Darker fruit. Smother tannin structure. Test good and wellmade but also bit international in style.

Hard red fruit, classic red cherry and mint, sandalwood, herbs, high toned, strawberry jam; larger scaled on the palate, drying tannins, more muscular and four square, some oak influence but not oaky; some called Scavino and I could see that; could use a couple more years but very high quality; quite the foil to the Burlotto next to it.

Pretty developed colour of reddish amber. Notes of leather, tobacco and truffles on the nose, but a somewhat muted fruit. I’m not getting a lot of nuances on the palate either, mostly dark fruit and some leather. Tannin is soft, medium and acid is medium plus.

Begyndende balsamiske noter i næsen. Mørk frugt i munden med ret meget præg af træ, dog er tanninerne ret bløde. For mig tydelig "højreside" Barolo. Fin vin, hvis man er til old-school nebbiolo.

Still fairly primary, but approachable now. The best example I’ve tried out of this producer. Liking the balance and overall vibe of this. Last bottle to sleep for several more years.

Very enjoyable on the second day. Didn’t seem like it would evolve that much but it definitely needed some time to integrate. Was all acid in the beginning but turned out to be a great example of a modern Barolo with a foot in the traditional.

Expressive mose of cherries and a lot of minut and smoke. Medium to full bodied with no sign of oak. Better Than I expected and enjoyable All Ready at this point in time.

Surprisingly little oak noticeable. PnP late at night and very enjoyable. The acid/tannins are still wrestling as the mouthfeel changes continually The nose is fresh, classic and red fruited with a more traditional profile than previous vintages. I would wait on pulling the corks a couple more years but certainly worthwhile now.

The mouthfeel and body is one of the high points - it's hard to pin down, basic and enjoyable - a quick attack of MEDIUM acid that builds and slowly recedes. Elegant, silky yet almost full-bodied. Noble, complete flavor. Dry, refined tannins, medium full acidity, a notch under full bodied. Many flavors - dry cherry, black pepper, plum, very faint tomoato. A good wine to savor.

Of course it is too young to drink now, but nose is already showing very nicely. With tar, cordage and ropes, prunes. On the palate its nicely balanced between fruit, acid and tannin, but a bit closed. After 4-5 hours it opened up a bit more on the palate.

Nice ageing notes. Didnt take notes but think the fruit was a bit to weak leaving the acidity quite unbalanced.

Deep red colour. Nice, but fint bouquet, hint of dark berries. Taste of blackcurrant and cherries, soft tannins and good long aftertaste.

A young example of Barolo. Needs time, but will mature into a great wine I think.

Smoky nose, red fruit, pronounced oak tannins and lots of acidity. Clearly needs time as not showing well now.
