Frank & Sue's for Dinner (PHX): Very light color. Very solid. Not sure there's any oak here, if so, very little new oak. Very crisp and clean. Strong citrus flavors and high acidity at the finish. Sharp edges.

Star bright yellow in the glass, aromatic nose of orange blossom and sweet citrus, palate is expressive with green apple, citrus zest, tart star fruit, zippy acidity, hint of vanilla leading to a long finish. Nice.

I notice others mention oak but I find it completely undetectable and well integrated. Pale gold. This is has more going on than most sub $15 whites. Energetic, balanced with fresh orange peel, lime, apple and minerality. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again for the $14 I paid for it. 90% viura and 10% malvasia; fermented in new French, followed by three months of aging on its lees in stainless steel tanks. ALC 13%.89+

Pale lemon color. Light nose of stone fruit. Dry, high acid medium alcohol and body. Tart strawberry was tasty. Little bit bland with minimal oak. Almost Unripe. Acceptable.

Tart and refreshing with enough complexity to keep me interested. I like wines with a an acid kick, but this one may have too much, leaving me with a harsh finish. Good on a summer day with fish and herbs.

Gorgeous bottle - tropical and lush, medium to low acid, full bodied. White flowers on the nose, pineapple and honey and banana on the palate. Love this.

Bright straw yellow. Attractive nose of citrus fruit, quince, florality. Medium-bodied with vibrant fruit, bright acidity and a long aftertaste. Excellent pairing with any kind of seafood or fish and a great value. Will hold for at least another 3 years.

Light to medium body, pale gold's yellow colour, aromatic, apples and again apples, floral and spicy aroma, green apples and pineapples, mineral and slightly spicy on the palate, citrus notes and minerals on finish, long finish, light, fresh and elegant, complex, balanced and structured, refreshing acidity, food friendly. Well associated with fish or sea food and sharp cheeses. Open half hour in advance. Serve 7º - 11º. Drink now and next couple year.

Vibrant fruits give way to notes of vanilla, toasted oak and a refreshing, spicy finish. A great alternative to Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio.

Some wines from a trip; 6/19/2014-7/2/2014: Very herbal and unbalanced, could hardly finish a glass. And I love white Rioja! (C)
