P: MF, poss Med, body; Almost swtish frt met by some astringent pucker which fairly seamlessly works its way into a LONG, spicy, VERY slightly bitterish/tart finish. LOVELY stuff drinking @ its peak, I'd suspect, though SHOULD continue drinking nicely into '19, I'd suspect. (If interested, check the 3 medals on wine-searcher's Tasting Notes pg.) [As of early Apr '20, wine-searcher still shows 1 source @ $36].

Moderate purple hue. Plum, cocoa, vanilla, and hints of green pepper on the nose. Not much depth or complexity but plenty of juicy blackberry and cherry on the palate. Blend of 42% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Syrah, 9% Petite Sirah, 3% Tempranillo, 2% Touriga, and 2% Cabernet Franc.

Vivid crimson in color, this wine (42% Merlot/33% Cabernet Sauvignon/9% Syrah/9% Petite Sirah/3% Tempranillo/2% Touriga/2% Cabernet Franc) reveals laser focused dark plum, blackberry and vanilla on the nose. The mouth feel is medium bodied with soft tannins that bring out more spices and subtle raspberry undertones. The finish as somewhat hot though, notching down my score a few points.
Purchased for $17US, this is an excellent value and a tasty, unique blend of grapes.

This won't impress with depth but who cares(?), it welcomes you with open arms. Upfront and approachable, succulent and tasty, with aromas and flavors of cherries, red currants, black raspberries, and pencil lead. Nice.

Bought 3 cases of this "stuff" Haha Love it love it loooooove it. What can I say, for 20 bucks a bottle this what great wine bargains are all about. Drinks like a $50+ wine. Great mouthfeel is what I like most about this wine. It coats the pallette accordingly so. Chewy plum fruit is what comes to mind. Herb notes with a touch of vanilla and mocha. Soft tannins and smooth for what it is. Great quality wine for a great price
Started off great very smooth and great blend. Then as the bottle went on it got worse for some reason. My take would be to drink up now. As it seems to not last after opening
Dark in color, with fruit and smoke aromas dominating. Palate opens with a wave of rich blackberry compote and spice cake flavors, followed by some vanilla, mincemeat and smoke. Easy-drinking, intense fruit flavors (think The Prisoner), and a medium+ finish. Would pair well with BBQ ribs and the like. Zin-like in flavors.

Decent bottle of wine, but nothing particularly remarkable about it.

Took a flyer on this (paid $15 or so). Nothing special. Blackberry, plum, cola, vanilla on the finish. Ripe fruit, a little heat poke through. Meh.

Deep crimson with medium legs. Musty earth on the nose. Palate is elderberry, dried mushrooms followed by tart cherry. Not bad for the price.

Damp earth on the nose, dried plum and black raisin on the palate, with a long and dry finish, it really shines with assertive dishes.

Quite dry. Lots of oak tannins still. An alcoholic nose, very hot. You can sense the fruit behind all the boldness of the oak and alcohol.
